Well, you have a 180 amp alternator.. the original alternator for my truck is the low amp model 130 amp if i remember.. I thought about going with the higher amp version.. but decided since I planned on doing a sound system later and probably some offroad lights that I wanted the extra power.. I mean. A winch isn't the problem. The fans and lighting and amps would be cuase they are constant use... anyway thanks for the comment.

Man.. I'd start by running some cascade detergent through the system for a bit (of ots flowing) and then take out the t Stat and hook up a water house at inlet side of house and just let the vehicle run... flushing out all the gunk you can.. that what I had to do to my Silverado I got that a company was saying it needed new heads... drove it for a couple years after that.. just cleaned the system and refilled with fresh antifreeze and water..

Get the powdered stuff and put a scoop or two in.. amd run up to temp.. flush etc etc

We had a mini truck group for a bit.. one guy blew up his 94 Toyota with too much boost.. another has a 94 or 6 ranger with a 4 cylinder eco boost that needs some wiring sorted.. and the other 89 Toyota is swapping in a OM606 right now.

Haven't had a chance to use it.. we got some glass bead the other day at harbor freight.. my son needs to blast some aluminum parts for his om606 swap.. I need to blast some wheels.. but was also going to test out a water blast unit and compare.. just swamped with work and house stuff..

@@Sketchyrooster The wheels will depend on what finish is on them but my advice for most wheels is if they are just old factory paint hit them with 80 or more PSI using Aluminum oxide. Using a vapor blast will just cuase flash rust afterwards unless you have a oven to load them in and dry them immediately. If they are powder coated save yourself the headache and take them to a professional sandblaster if you do not have powder stripping chemicals. Unless you have a compressor on wheels and a high CFM blaster you probably won't be able to remove any powder coat. Thanks for the response!

@CraftwerksMC awesome.. thanks.. the wheels are factory GM truck aluminum.. I do have a water additive to add to pressure siphon system to block flash rust..but I assume it's just a clear coat. I have a decent Quincy 5hp dual stage 80 gallon and am building a portable 60 gallon rolair k30 2 stage pump with a 11hp Honda gas engine as a mobile unit so I can use both to feed a blaster if necessary.. I assumed this blast Cabinet would do anything I would need.. but should I maybe look at some kinda bigger unit for powder coat and frames etc? Like a pressure pot set-up? In one corner of the shop we're building a 14x28 room that has a drain in it for paint/washing/ and possibly thought It would be nice for blasting certain things also. Going to setup a crossflow ventilation system in it with filteration. Anyway.. long winded reply but thanks for the advise.. I'll do a video on results eventually.. lol. Have a good one.

This was discussed.. but we have a lift.. and honestly, most things that low.. will likely be jacked and put on stands..

If it rolls better and holds weight better it will be worth it. If it becomes a issue I will make brackets that allow the wheels to mount "further up the frame". Basically just brackets so frame sits lower.. we will see.

@@Sketchyrooster there is NO slop in my door now!!!!!! At all!!!!!!! I can open the door and shake / lift up the door and lift the truck!!! I have had my for month and a half. Installed the bronze bushing and still had play. Took that crap out and the pins was worn and broken bushings. Endurapin is the sh1t!!!!!!!!

It's pretty nice.. plenty big for wheels and almost anything else we might wanna blast like gun barrels.

It doesn't have a crushing mechanism.. so don't know why you would want too? Lol

@@Sketchyrooster Nope, you actually flow a very low amount of nitrogen through the line when brazing, it kind of works like a shielding gas, but on the inside.

@@Sketchyrooster I’m keeping mine all 6 lug I found the 2500 ones will fit they are on parts avatar they have an extra couple inch dip in them and they fit the 1500 14 bolt rear axel I’ll have too order up some of them just unsure of the backing plates they are 13” the measuring tapes saying but I can only find 10-11” backing plates I gotta keep looking I do have the setup for disc breaks but I would rather keep my drums in the back

If I had not found them drums on parts avatar I would be doing the disc breaks aswell
