There is nothing in the Quran or the sunnah to say exactly when and where Prophet Ibrahim 'alayhis-salaam was born!
Those who say he was born in Babylon or Harran etc., have no evidence except the discussion of the historian based upon the works of the ahle kitab. And the information of the ahle kitab can't be depended upon.
Hence, our answer should be "Only Allaah knows when and where Prophet Ibrahim was born! We have no idea and we can't accept the claim of the experts specially when we know their claim is not based upon Quran or sunnah.
