Dang. If my timing was that early I'd be double dribbling all over the place. Was not easy to see that haha. And yeah, Bakes is in my Mt Rushmore of bowling coaches. Here are the other three (and 1/2): -Mo Pinel. Total genius when it came to ball technology. Rest in Power. -Joe Slowinski. Hands down THE BEST; DYDS (Drop Your Damn Shoulder) got me from a 195 average to a 205 average instantly. Like literally that same season. Adopted it in February 2014. Average was at 195. By May 2014? 205. Work the numbers on that yourself. That's how much DYDS improved me. -Tie between Mike Shady and Mike Jasneau, two very solid coaches. Best thing about those above coaches? They have receipts. PROOF that they were either making money bowling competitively themselves or were able to produce pro bowlers who make substantial money bowling. VERY few coaches possess that kind of thing.

What balls would you recommend I add to my 6 ball arsenal? Right now I have a phaze 5, DNA, Zen, Pitch Black, and Black Widow 3.0.

Threw the optimal idol pearl on demo day. Idol pearl and X-Cell were my favorites. I hated the shape of the harsh reality and the ion and summit ascent was okay. I wish they weren’t all drilled pin above the bridge because that’s a 6+ inch pin to PAP for me (definitely did not get along with the layout).

Thank you for sharing this video! I am having severe timing issues now and I am working on a 5 step approach to see if that helps me. I typically am a 4-step bowler but notice that I, like you, crossed over my foot on the first.

Love that ball!! Great vid. I’d say since ur rebuilding ur arsenal…def take a look at the Radical Breakaway. Out of box a polished solid. Not too sharp or too smooth off the spot. Very versatile.

The vibe series from hammer was always a series where the quality for what you pay for is a true bargain.

I had mine drill in a super classic 4 × 35 "continuous" layout. I love it. Works great for my low speed medium rev rate style. Haven't tried throwing it on fresh yet as I have other balls for that. For the $103 bucks I paid, I'm loving it.

He's awesome! I got help from Mark too. Timing was his thing for me as well. I didn't have an issue stating under and behind the ball, but I did miss in and out a lot. I'm the same height as Mark, and he told me to bowl big because I was tilting wayyyyy too soon.

This vibe is definitely the strongest one yet. I think its great for medium to high rev rates on house. Your zig zag looks super weak, very lazy on the back. Mine is only a step under the effect cause it doesnt pick up quite as early.

What is the dual angle layout on it?

Mark Baker is what a coach should be imo. He doesn’t break you down or make you feel silly for attempting anything. He even stated himself he doesn’t want anyone to feel bad or be berated for not doing something good. He wants you to learn and enjoy it. I’m so tempted to send a vid so I can get advice on my 2h situation

I have this ball. I like it, but it definitely seems very forward to me. Playing straighter it often picks up early and goes high, but moving left, it struggles to come around a corner too much. It makes it less versatile than I would like it to be, but it does carry pocket hits very well.

You really did show great improvements. How is it all going still? Would love to see a follow up video.

Traded my hustle off for this. The ball was a bit late to the cut so I took it to 1500 and it now has the perfect break point with a insane continuation through the pins
