Played both games for countless hours and can confirm demonologist wins by quite a bit. Tools function better, you can hide and defend yourself easier, not as grindy, more scary by a lot, only problem is that it doesn't have vr support.

Wow, thats a really cool video and really helpful to me. Especially the Electritian part :D Is there any chance you can do a "Home Base" Video for those who are not bothered by the Blood Moon events? Like a RP Base but not too huge - cant really find something which is not 40x40 with underground base. Did that once before my Saved Data was gone for about 30h, but that was too much effort and i did that on creative mode - which in the end was not really fun :D Cheers and keep up the work! :)

great guide so far....but can i build more than one base to respawn in? if not, will a base with storage thats 2km away from my respawn base, be in any danger of despawning or being attacked while im not there?

As someone kind of new to 7 Days, although I have tried to love it in the past, I absolutely love just turning off the horde nights and beefing up my zombies to make it an overall more difficult survival experience and it gets rid of the whole "tower defense" aspect which I hate. Once I did this I realized how amazing the game was because I wasn't rushing and focusing on building my base, sure I still build it up, but it's not my main focus anymore because there's no horde night.

It is kinda peaceful when mining. I would add I got attacked by a pack of zombie dogs when mining iron in the forest Biom in early game. Lol. Survived by the skin of my teeth with a hunting knife, lvl 2 club and pipe rifle with no mods yet. So it can still have exciting elements even during the resource gathering phases.

I genuinely thought the building in this game was limited to square blocks and doors. I never knew you could change the shapes of buildingblocks 😂😂 The game litteraly never tells you the hotkey, unless i missed it.

Another tip, not for building, but just in general. Once you’ve reached a point where you’re not desperate for money immediately, and have a bit of breathing room, rent a trader vending machine and put your big ticket items in there. It takes longer to sell, but you’ll make waaaaaay more money. Also, (this may have changed since the 1.1 update, I’m not sure) if you have the best gear, perks, and consumables to get the best deals from the trader? You can actually buy some things for cheaper than you can sell them for in the vending machines! Some big ticket items I used were solar panels. I’d get them for really cheap using all the buffs possible, and then put them in my vending machine. But like I said, that may have been changed. As I still have some in my machine and I looked at their price in there now and it seems much lower than it was before. So I’m not sure if that changed or I just don’t remember how much it used to be lol they’re selling for around 20k now. But I swore it was like double that before. And I was buying them for like 10-15k.

Exp increase without difficulty boost tip, Edit xml from 1 point to 3 per level, It will give you effectively 300% exp at the base but not make the game get really hard too early. If you want to lower the xp to slow game stage to say 50% but want the same vanilla amount of perks per time spent, simply at 2 perks per level and set xp to 50%.

It's finally mostly stable, which is nice. Keyword being mostly lol But its fun and there's nothing quite like it out there.

The lack of having a map in this game makes traversing through it very HARD.
