Does this constantly need to be plugged in to the car for it to work or can it run off the battery?
I use my cigarette port. Pop it in every time I use it then unplug afterwards. Very easy.
@@lockie4912 yes thats what i do aswell but was wondering if there was a setting for it to work unplugged without the wires. When i dont have mine plugged in it switches itself off 🤣🤣
@@danielbrown9756yes that’s correct switches itself off. It would have to be hardwired for it to be continuously on I think .

Hi.. Does this camera able to return to original location after tracking an object ?
Hi. No it doesn’t move back to the original position. It will sense movement again and follow that person/pet.

hi, please can you advise. did you have to connect the rear camera red wire. The rear camera does not come on at all and not visible in the menu. Thanks in advance.
If you set up the rear camera then you have to use supplied cables for set up. I didn’t hardwire mine to rear lights. I just connected cable to rear camera and then plugged into Dashcam. Then on your Dashcam screen you should see a Split View of the front view and rear view.

I've rigged mine up to my car via the cigarette lighter... it turns on fine when the car starts(front and rear).... Then seems to turn off after a few minutes.... was doing the same when i was charging it in the house.... am i doing something wrong?.... It does seem to get really hot when connected!... TIA.
You need to go to the menu screen and change your screen saver option

It amazes me how they didn't make it standing up. I'm sure it would stand up after 15 minutes of working with a file.
Yes I agree. Even something as simple as a kickstand would have been beneficial and cheap during the manufacture.

The video states that you can't take a photo with this A16W model, but you certainly can do that I confirmed, by single pressing the Down button while in the recording mode (which is stated in the manual on page 5), and it makes a camera sound when you do. The app also has a photo button to click on when it is in recording mode, and the photos get stored in a "Snapshots" section of that app UI. I just got it from Lightning deal for $20 and it is great. Thanks!

Does this mean that your phone will be connected to a tapo wi fi network as opposed to your own router?
No. It’s only to connect the device to the Tapo app during the initial set up. Then you have to choose your own network further on in the set up.
I believe those drawer wedges cannot support as much weight as the original metal bar. My drawers currently use these wedges, and I am looking for a metal bar alternative.
It depends on how you fill the drawers. Clothing is fine. I’ve had no problems yet but I just put clothes in them.
A tip for you all - this is exactly the same mower as the Hawksmoor 1600w available at toolstation for £40 less than the S&J branded machine. Bought one today and I’m impressed with it - good bits of kit.

Thank you. The SD card only needs formatting when the camera is set up initially. But if you change the SD card for any reason make sure you format the new card. And your right it loop records.
Update. Apparently a message will appear on screen when the SD card needs to be re -formatted again.

Hi, which one do you recomend, it is better as you had both. ORSKEY S900 or ssontong A16W ? Thank you.
I prefer the ORSKEY s900. The ssontong A16W I gave to my daughter. If I was to buy another dashcam it would be a ORSKEY s900 for sure. If your still not sure buy one on Amazon, make sure it offers free returns - try it out and if your not happy it return it.
@@lockie4912 any reason why you prefer orskey over this? i cant hardwire(pcp car), so need something easy that can be plugged in ligther port.
Both cameras are plugged into the lighter port and not hardwired. There are just more options in on the ORSKEY Dashcam and I think the quality of the product is better. Take a look at all my Dashcam videos and hopefully you will be able to see what you want from the Dashcam.
Can u buy the panels online ?
If you have the MALM drawers go back to IKEA and most of the time they will give you a replacement panel for free if you have evidence of your purchase.

Oh that’s a shame. I suppose it depends on what you want. I love mine. Cheap and cheerful and does what it is supposed to do just like the more expensive ones. Look my other video and it shows what the footage is like.
everytime i turn mine on it says to insert a sd card even tho i have one in it already. i always have to push the card out and back inside and hit record... annoying
Make sure you format the card before using. Hope that helps.

Another check. The website says this dashcamera Supports high-endurance micro SD memory cards up to 32GB in memory size.32GB SD Card(C10). If you use the memory card that came with camera and your still having problems reach out to the company you purchased from or email customer service(service@orskey.com). Worth a try!!!! because what you’re having to do at the moment is a right pain.

@@lockie4912 just looking at mowers came across ur channel. There are others. But a bit out the price range which I came across as I have a disability. Ego cordless but that was 42 cm and husqvarna aspire is similar but easier to use and I like the way the fold I had be after the spear and Jackson for a while but decided to some more research as I have a very difficult garden. Check them out the second one I found from gardeners world top 5 cordless and the ego is on Jay rock channel review
