Highlights of Billy Bobb's Action Theatre on WGGT-TV48 from the 1980s. First, we see a few clips from a sketch we did during a visit by Jeff MacGregor of "The New Dating Game". Then Billy Bobb visits the local minor league ballpark for a celebrity softball game. Finally, a brief clip with Coach K of Duke basketball.

This was a real TV commercial in the 1980s. It was a direct response commercial, but didn't get a single order after one week, so it was pulled forever. Thus, you could say this is "the worst commercial ever made" since it sold zero products. It was made in the lobby of WGGT-TV48. All that survives is this raw bed, without the graphics and tag at the end.

My sister got me into Duran Duran. She was a teenager at the absolute peak of their fame, so her walls were COVERED floor-to-ceiling in all Duran Duran posters, and that’s all she played on her record player. I was just a toddler, but because of her, I grew up listening to all of their music throughout my childhood and I love them more than her to this day!!!!!!❤❤❤

Why do the boys look so angry at the beginning?
Probably because they had just finished a show, were tired and had to do this meet and greet.
In 1984 I would have the been the red-headed friend of the girl in the fedora. Quietly FREAKING OUT. You can feel the nervous excitement of these fans. Amazing footage.

In 1991 WGGT Channel 48 Cancel their Programing & Broadcast WNRW Fox 45 Programs. WGGT Channel 48 will keep some of the Hours 10AM-Noon. 3AM-6AM Daily for it's own Programming. In the Fall of 1995 Fox Brought The Longtime ABC Affiliate WGHP Channel 8 in High Point, NC. WNRW became WXLV. Switch from Fox to ABC. WGGT now WMYV Switch from Fox to My Network TV.
