I have a tip to keep the bugs off of your collards. I use a natural mixture. I use a small amount of dawn dish detergent in water with a splash of either apple cider vinegar or neem oil in a spray bottle. Spray them occasionally. This keeps leaf hoppers, caterpillars, white flies, mealy bugs,snails/slugs,etc away from your crops. An occasional tobacco dusting works as well.

Good tips but number 7 could be worse you could have your neighbors cows braking through the fence to eat them

Thanks bro from 9b. I'm learning a lot about planting. You explained this so well. I will watch your videos. My grandfather was a great farmer and my mom loved flowers. My mom & dad could grow anything. lol. In my parents memories, I will plant a flower bed. I will plant a row of collards in memory of my grandfather.
