    I see the heels coming up just a bit on your back squat. For some lifters this is basically unavoidable, but based solely off the eye test you should have the mobility to keep the heels planted, at least until the very top of the movement. If you _do_ have sufficient mobility and the heels are still coming off the ground it may be because you're falling forwards at that point in the movement, which we definitely don't want. I sometimes squat in shoes with thick soft soles like yours and have the same problem; I find it helps for me to focus on opening up at the hips to make sure I can stay as upright as possible while "sitting" into the squat

  • @dancline2143

    Not to sound stupid, but they say that if you want to run faster, practice running barefoot. What if you practiced jumping barefoot?

    • @johncollinaskew
      @johncollinaskew Месяц назад

      @@dancline2143 I did that for fun once. In my opinion when you’re jumping barefoot, you might be able to put max effort off vertical. It’s hard to put max effort barefoot full approach unless your on grass so I’d say it’s better to do it in shoes.

    • @johncollinaskew
      @johncollinaskew 2 месяца назад

      My workout schedule is mixed up a bit. I have flag football intermural’s. I’m doing 1-2 lower body lifts per week. Once I finish, I’m going to do a high-volume cycle to increase my load capacity.

    • @willskihouser

    • @johncollinaskew
      @johncollinaskew 2 месяца назад

      @@willskihouserI’m not a fan of stretching. I would only do it a little bit after workouts. I find that stretching increases risk of hamstring injuries. I made a lot of mistakes. Stretching before sprinting and during injuries is a big no no for me.
