he was running behind no lineman..had two broken ribs since rookie season and had knee surgery before coming into the draft which hinderd his explosiveness and speed and he became a power back instead of a speed/balanced like he was in college

D Ron No I don't think he was on roids, he's still strong, it's just that there's a lot more to being a great player than the measurables like strength and speed. Like your running technique, running low to the ground, finding the holes, being able to shift around well. Also the guys in the NFL are just as strong as him, and he's only like 225 lb. Look at LaRon Landry, one of the strongest guys in the league, has 24 inch biceps, yet he's one of the worst safeties in the league, he's slow, he can't cover worth shit, and on top of that, I've seen running backs run over his ass a number of times, in the AFC title game, LaGarrette Blount ran his ass over all day.
He was the shit at Cleveland, but when he went to the Colts it was a whole different type of offense, it's more of a passing playbook, and I guess that Offense doesn't fit him, but we gone see what he does at Oakland..just wait on it.
Trent is a beast, he's the kind of guy you want not only in the locker room, but on the field. The reason he hasn't done has much in the NFL is because the Colts don't give him the ball, if they did he'd be a Pro Bowler.

Thank you for realizing that TR does have talent. Most people say "Oh, he's trash" or "He was overrated". But he's a good player, you just have to give him carries. He actually led the Colts in rushing last season. But, yeah. The NFL has some flaws that need to be fixed.
And they're also guys that wer great in college like Darren McFadden, who haven't really had a chance to showcase themselves in the NFL.

And people thought he was only good without great blockers. In my opinion, Alexander was just a master at reading the block and exploding through open holes (No pun intended). Granted, he always seemed to have great blockers, but he sure took advantage of them.
