What Does Escrow Do in a Real Estate Transaction?
Your videos are great. Challenge might be to get audience to view. You know the areas and would be a good guide.
Good job covering such a huge area!
300 days of sunshine and 300 nights of freezing temperatures.
How much anyone want to bet that some people living here don’t have influence with the governor, FEMA, anyone involved with bailout. Friends in high places is good to rip off people in low places. Where is the old school reporters that used to bring things like this to light?
I’ll donate to you as soon as I finish my donation to Opra Winfree.
I hope everyone of these million dollar homes go in the ocean. Maybe you don’t hope North Catalina does the same but you are willing to take money when you know North Catalina can’t get $750.00 emergency checks.
The elites get bailed out. People in North Catalina, Maui can’t get $750.00 emergency funds and FEMA offers compensation / purchase of millionaires homes. It makes me sick listening to these scamming elites.
suck BS they get a buy out. The rich should just slide into the Pacific
Listening to these RPV residents complain about this area is a joke. This is the ultra elite of California. They're more than capable of taking care of their assets in loss. But they want welfare money to fix their private estates on a private beach where they'll have police or security on you if you spend 5 minutes enjoying a view their. Don't try an live on a landslide we've known about for nearly 100 years.
While we appreciate all points of view, this is not a constructive or empathetic comment for people who are losing their homes. Their lifeline - in many cases these are elderly people on a fixed income who couldn't afford a home in today's market. Many of these people have lived here for decades and spent decades paying their mortgage and taxes. This comment is uncalled for.
@JessiqaPaceRealtor While you may feel it's uncalled for, stating the obvious is being honest. These are not geriatrics in some destitute state of life. You're claim is false that these people are on a "fixed income". "Fixed income" for normal, poor Americans means that your income level is near poverty and is a struggle to pay for basics. None of these RPV boomers are suffering near poverty levels. I'm a real "fixed income" person from retirement. If what you claim is true, they should have sold and moved on while they had a chance. The landslide has been known about for decades, since I was a child. To feign ignorance to it is just stupid. Can't fix stupid. Not interested in hugging away anyone's problem. Not interested in paying taxes to replace rich peoples' self-centered, bad investment choices. You'd do better to educate those elderly to move to properties they can afford to maintain. There's plenty of property they can move to 60 miles inland that would reduce their monthly expenses more than half. Keep it real, or get off the train.
I’m old ex Californian from the 1970s and these bozos have been talking this slide since 1970s. Tell these people that these homes that are sliding down the hill getting 4 to 5 buying offers. There is no limit to the stupidity of California home buyers. Any neighborhood is great except living in south central & living with 40 million Latinos
why should our taxpayer money be spent to bailout rich white people? they gambled and lost and we have to pay for it.
My neighborhood is not that good though. People walked through my neighborhood and left trash in your yard and on the street!
Thank you for featuring our safe and beautiful City of Torrance.
Nice area very enjoyable.
So nice
Thanks, great overview of the area.
Thanks for watching!
Who has responsible for providing building and development permits every decade going back to the 50s when GLC started developing? It’s been a known issue for decades, road construction and utilities construction have eroded the land. It’s a terrible situation for residents… who should not have been allowed to be there in the first place.

10:25 $42M FEMA grant to buyout homeowners: more than 200 affected homes and per LA Times article officials project they can buyout *20* homes. Yikes!
Meanwhile in Maui, fire victims are losing their homes.
Grotesque waste of tax dollars. These people are the ultra wealthy of California. Disgusting.
Jessiqa - this was a very well presented video. Thank you!!
Super informative, thank you.
Thank you for watching.
Wow, never heard of this happening before.
That is a very good deal. Smart owners will get on this now. 75% of 2022 value is probably about what they would get if the movement had not occurred.
I agree. I hope some of these homeowners can get relief.
Sir I am digital marketer and seo expt. I saw your channel Jessiqa Pace - Los Angeles Realtor that the video views of your channel are not good. There is some problem in your channel so your channel videos are not getting good views. If you want I can share your channel problem

Mortgage applications nosedive 17% Refi share drops below 50% for the first time in a month October 16, 2024, 7:00 am By James Kleimann Mortgage applications decreased 17% from one week earlier as mortgage rates surged, according to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) weekly application survey for the week ending October 11, 2024. The Market Composite Index, a measure of mortgage loan application volume, decreased 17% on both a seasonally adjusted and an unadjusted basis from one week earlier. The refinance index decreased 26% from the previous week and was 111% higher than the same week one year ago. The seasonally adjusted purchase index decreased 7% from one week earlier and was 7% higher than the same week one year ago. “Mortgage rates moved higher for the third consecutive week, with the 30-year fixed rate increasing to 6.52%, its highest level since August,” said Joel Kan, MBA’s vice president and deputy chief economist. “The recent uptick in rates has put a damper on applications.” Kan noted that the refinance application share fell below 50% for the first time in a month and while purchase applications declined, they remain 7% higher than a year ago. “Demand is holding up to an extent for prospective first-time buyers. FHA purchase applications were little changed despite the increase in rates, as some first-time homebuyers remain in the market because of improving housing inventory conditions.”
love this video
I like that you talk about the history of this area. Really interesting!
Wow!!!! Amazingly Beautiful!!! Do I even want to know the price of a place like this????
All overpriced
@@jamesbelcher9246 If they are sitting for a long time then chances are they are over priced. You are correct.
750 listings. How many of those sellers are willing to pay my buyers agent fees?
If they have a realtor, chances are they will be offering the Buyer Broker concession. With FSBO, you may not see that concession.
@@JessiqaPaceRealtor does for sale by owner exist, anymore?
@@sjay149 Yes FSBO homes are out there. You won’t find them on the MLS because only realtors can position them there. FSBO believe they are saving money but it’s clear that they lose money and any kind of leverage if they don’t have a professional representing them in this kind of transaction.
I couldn’t afford to buy a cabin in Big Bear 30 years ago. 😂😂😂
There’s a great vacation rental market.
Another great video
Two good nearby parks, quiet suburban streets yet two blocks away acces to larger roads, metro etc.
You've lived in every area you've shown
probably why she is touring them
Very Awesome!!!! I definitely need to take a trip back to my hometown. As always, Thank you for sharing and posting. These videos take time to create and edit. Thank you for what you do for the South Bay.
How do realtors handle complex negotiations and overcome challenges that may arise during the buying or selling process?
Hi Taylor. Thank you for your thoughtful question. Like everything in life, all deals are different, the sellers and buyers have distinct motivations and the market adds its own complexities. A good agent will focus on the best interest of their client, but also on the end goal, which is to close the deal. I think a good agent is like a good diplomat - they zoom out and look at the big picture and keep guiding their client forward, while making the other side of the deal feel like they are getting close to what they want. It's nuanced. It's really important to note that people who think they can do this on their own without a realtor to save a few dollars often lose big in the end.
@@JessiqaPaceRealtor Thank you for your response. Very informative and seems to me you know what you are talking about.
That’s your fault you are a bad agent just don’t know it
Thank you for the kind words.
How tf is this her fault 😭
What a bizarre comment
Looks like a scene from “Dexter”
right?
Wow. That's so unprofessional. Most likely dealing with an amateur or an ahole. I wouldn't even give them feedback and most likely ignore their phone call. Wasting everyones time..silliness.
I know, right? Terrible.
