She is out this happened to me I was on third and the girl ran and I caught the ball and tagged her out and they said that they were she was safe even though I got that I was on the bag and she slid in and I still got her out but they called her safe

that was high and outside! The ump should be fired!

Safe because the third baseman did not correctly tag the girl she was too close up the line so she couldn’t get to the girl before she got to the base

I think out the tag got on her right before she touched the bag

Must have bet the farm on this game. I maybe could have seen making the call if the catcher would have made even a half hearted attempt to frame the pitch. Umpires are trying way too hard to be the focus of games these days.

Safe or out does actually depend upon which batter's box they were using during this event. The permanent painted lines, minus the catcher's box, appear to be close to the actual dimensions for fastpitch softball. The lines that appear to be fresh chalk don't even make any sense even for slow pitch, these lines should not only be wider but should be deeper as well. With that said, if they were using the permanent lines then the batter was safe. If they were using the fresh chalked lines then the batter should be out for contacting the ball outside of the batter's box. If the batter's box lines they were using were discussed at home plate and the home plate umpire missed this play then the umpire should eject himself for blatantly missing the foot out play. It was a great play by the pitcher.

Runner is safe. Catcher tagged her out. Catcher has the ball to make the play. It really depends on the league rules.
