Depends on tech/medical advances . Never forget that the Wright Brother's made the first-almost pathetic-flight in 1903 and just 66 years later that had progressed into landing a man on the Moon. No one living in 1903 would have predicted the speed of change to do that. Personally I think it will take cloning and adapting the clones genetics to achieve colonisation of places like Mars or for travelling light years to explore Space. We've known since the Apollo/MIR/Skylab days that for some reason our kidneys/immune systems fail in space....need to create a clone ,but it'll be difficult with all the ethics involved..

We better get mars because by 2200 we gonna have 50 billion. People on earth. Earth right now can only fit 75 billion people right now. And if we because a type 2 civilization and have the energy and gas from Jupiter and each country building floating islands. We would need people living in submarine cities in the ocean and connect islands with there continent by building land in the ocean. That would fit 100 billion people. If we add 12 more floors to land on the planet we would have 1 trillion People. We would need lots of animals and plants on the ground everywhere.
