Rolling off that attack to about 9 o'clock really punched that bass up. It gave it a little time before it compressed. Very nice. I've got one of these and use it on guitar. I've been using it since the mid 90s and toured with it - always on.

HOLY CRAP I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A PEDAL EXACTLY LIKE THIS I HAD NO IDEA ONE EXISTS! i want to take out the crazy highs and boomy lows that i don't want and focus all my amp's energy on the sounds that i DO want! would use it just for the hi pass/ low pass filters alone!

This pedal is almost useless. I've 6 different pedal compressor (7 with the dbx rack, not a pedal but a comp), and the digitech is very strange... Is not so bad but is not a compressor... Yes, the sound become compressed but the cosmesis above the sound is dramatic and you loose the nature of the bass. At the end, evry time you go to push off the pedal you hear a better sound...

The thing has extra effect, which could be a plus or a minus, just do not turn the knob all the way in some modes.

Great demo man. Good choice of general sound ideas going into different techniques of playing. But would have been even greater if there was some focus on what the Character knob does, since most of us know what bass/mids/trebles generally do. Thanks though!! 🎉❤

generally the drive knobs on these pedals don't do much but add more gain. maybe ease up on the knob twiddling and focus more on the different tones you can get. Eg. for this one sag and the 3 way switch. you add/reduce gain so much I can't even tell what's going on

you cycle through settings too fast to really hear the difference between.

It seems it would be a cool pre set it always on then kick in drive as needed

Did you ever notice the pedal having a funny burnt smell? Recently bought one used and it sounds great. Just as a burnt electrical smell coming from it. I’m using the stock AC adapter so it is getting proper power
