🌟The Lady in White, also known as Elsie Palmer, has found her permanent home at the Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs. As a native of Colorado Springs, I grew up admiring this beautiful painting, and it played a significant role in inspiring my journey as an artist.🎨❤
thanks for the tutorial
Thank you. Very interesting since I have WN and looking to expand. Looking at white nights and Rosa.
❤❤❤❤
Try using the reverse side of Canson Mi Teintes paper. It is much smoother.
Thank you so much for this, I just recently discovered your channel and I am loving your vids <3
You are an amazing artist ❤❤❤
Can anyone answer to what the quality is like printing art with printful or printify? I imagine it to be cheap quality but could be wrong.
Great tip thanks! Which brand of alcohol do you use please?
I’ve been using masking fluid for decades but I really wish they’d sort that awful fishy smell out that it has🤢does anyone know why it smells so bad?
i use pastels alot and one thing i can see being a huge problem with your first technique is you need to push quite a lot to get any mild colour, this will lead to the tooth of the paper being filled up much quicker so it wont allow for many layers of colour on top. you would benefit from trying markers or pan pastels as a base prior to going over top with pencils. im just seeing the potential benefits of moving from pan and pencil pastels to usng a marker base and wax pencils over top, so il be trying that.
Timestamp 2:15 shows colors 943 - 947, all of which could be used in examples of dark skin tones. Dark skin has more warm and cool tones than lighter caucasian, asian, or olive skin. On your chart, why was a different model used only to show the "dark" skin tone when the other tones use the same model? I realize lighting can cause darker skin tones to appear lighter or darker in photos. However, anyone who's seen Chadwick Boseman or a photo of him should realize your example isn't an accurate portrayal of his skin. Additionally I've never seen a photo of him with ashy lips. Also, why are both dark skin tone examples depicted similarly when the models vary greatly in skin color? Is this due the medium you've chosen?
I don't want to be a hater, but to explain the difficult names: Caran D'ache Luminance are professional quality pencils, made for actual pro artists who use these pencils in their professional work. All these names are the actual names of the pigments. If you were to buy watercolors, for example, every brand has their Quinacridone Purple and you will also find that there is Quinacridone Red, Quinacridone Yellow, etc.. These names are not random. They correspond to a specific pigment that every company uses to make their version of it. In theory they should all be the same across brands, but as you will find they are not. Look for swatches of a specific watercolor in different brands and you can see this. So these are the original code numbers of colors. People are more used to Pantone numbers which are used in print, and designers use them as reference for textile and paint colors, and digital artists use Pantone for digital color codes. But the original pigments that emerge from the earth (minerals, rocks, plants, bugs, etc) are coded in the way Caran D'ache is coding them (like the watercolors as well). I hope this helps. This is also why colors don't come pre-mixed. Professional portrait artists create layers before adding the skin color, so they will use blue, green and purple to paints veins, sun spots, freckles and under eye circles, underneath the skin color...
I REALLY wish We had These kinds of alternative interactive artshows/galleriets in Malmö Sweden. We dont. I saw some videos from a exhibition in dubai that was really awesome. I sist I’d written down the name of the gallret/artists so I could see older and new upcoming exhibitions. It was so awesome, cool and beautiful. Outside the box. BUT! You seem to have missed the most important part of the ☎️ -Wall, speak up. the text on the wall Said to lift the phones and listen to different important speaches/narratives
Its ignorant of you to describe all the variants of white skin tone and only state one tone as 'dark'. You are not a smart person at all.
Handy knowledge
Wow super cool
Wooooooovvvvvvvv!!!! Ne ingilizce ! Tebrik ediyorum
Am a self taught artist from Nairobi Kenya who started off with graphite and as i became better i started experimenting with charcoal to get better depth, people tell me i can earn good money through my work, but before i can dive into commerce, i have so many questions, can i get your email please? I lack mentors as this type of art has not caught on here.
Thank you for explaining this so clearly, without your video I would have never understood how graphite and charcoal can work together so well.
Ma'am again I am requesting to purchase my painting please
Thank you very much!
Thank you! Could you do it with polychromos please?😂😂😂😂
Please help me regarding my art work
Hello ma'am i am waiting your reply please support me to sell my paintings please
Ma'am please contact with me i want to show my work
Ma'am really you are great, you have reply thank you again God bless you
Really you are very beauty God bless you thank you
Hell0, Miss, i am really very sorry if that hurt your feelings, it was not my intention actually you are just like my daughter i hope you never mind again excuse me thank you
Van dries horribly. Extremely chalky and inconsistent. N w is more pigmented and doesn't get chalking. If you go heavy with the paint go with nw the darker you go the more chalk van gets. Van is also more opaque cuz of this. The transparency in nw makes sure it's looks watercolor.
Its absolutely amazing. Which paper did you used?
Thank you!
It was very helpful! Thanks♡ I have a question if you don't mind, can I use both acrylic and oil paint in the same painting?
They won’t mix bc acrylic uses water and oil paints uses oil so the oil and water doesn’t react well.
You make it look so easy!! ❤❤
Superb ❤❤
Wowww that's so great 👍 thanks for this informative video, I loved it , I will definitely try it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wowww, I am shocked to see, unbelievable, really did u create that with watercolor pencils, seriously, that's amazing 😍🤩 I would love to try it too.❤❤❤❤
I hope my mom will allow me to use baking soda also is this stuff toxic or cause skin irritation when you touch it like is it safe to touch
