Engine must be on to read all gauges.make sure every item you touch is in working condition California cdl in-cab inspection
Is this double clutching?
Yes 🙌
Thanks for making this clear
Yes sir
I test in about a month, I know you will start inside inspection first but say you pass the inside but fail the outside inspection and get sent home. When you retest, do you have to take the incab test again?
You basically have to leave the curb If you don’t then you will have to retake it all
Easyyyy. Thanks
You're welcome!
Why go to class when we have this video lol
Thanks my guy. !!!
Good shit Rich
Appreciate you Alex.
Good stuff thank you
Thanks brotha
Now this is the video I was looking for thanks. All other are just showing you how to do it not saying a word
Appreciate you
So in a way you never let your foot off the clutch?
Correct.
@@classaschoolcali because honestly I’m struggling so hard in double clutching. I was gonna ask if your located in Southern California because I got one more month till my Permit expires.
@soycrayy2704 I’m in Northern California. San Jose Are you in school?
@@classaschoolcali yes I am. But they don’t really explain much. Or show technique and show further explanation on somethings. I got everything down. Which is skills and in-cab and 5 point air brakes and pre-trip because of you. And now also might be the double clutching. It’s the last thing I need for me to feel good and confident for my test.
Well I’m here for your questions comments or concerns you may have. Or maybe you can FaceTime me while you’re in one of your trucks and I can give a better understanding?
Best video I've found, helped me a lot. Thank you sir 🙏
Appreciate you!!!!
How would you do the applied leakage test on a automatic tractor?
you didn't mention the dashboard or the seat belt or seat? are these not things needed on in cabin inspection?
Seatbelt is mentioned at 4:33 We do not have to mention the dashboard or the seat
Do you have a video for class B pre tip inspection? am going to be driving a garbage truck
is this information and procedure still current and valid for 2024 in California?
Very
You made it look so easy and confident I test in a month 🫡
Appreciate you!!!
Where's the governor cut in test?
What state are you in? We are not required to perform a governor cut in test
@@classaschoolcali California
Yeah bro. The only test we’re required to do is the governor cut out
A few things have changed since this video for California. I believe they don’t ask for the steering wheel play or the window going up or down. And opening/closing the door. I’m going to school in city of industry. And none of that was in my answer packet. Correct me if I’m wrong. But it changed a little right?
I believe each dmv is different as well as each examiner They all have their own way of examining individuals on the pre trip inspection. But to answer your question yes. They are always changing
He didn’t say properly mounted and secured 😢
Oh no 😬
Great video, the only thing that was for gotten was the air break governor cut in!!😮
Great observation but we are not required to do a governor cut In I believe that’s for class b 😯
@classaschoolcali right on! Here in california, we are to do the whole cola air brake test! On T/T nevertheless the video is super helpful.
I’m in cali brotha. Appreciate you
@classaschoolcali likewise, maybe it's because I drive for the city of los angeles (government) and they're more technical, and kinda have they're own rules...!! On testing. Keep the videos coming.
@williemays8072 What school are you at?
So there isn’t a cut- in anymore
We are not required to perform a governor cut in test
Missing the illegal weld on drum
Good inspection, but I need to provide clarification as a diesel technician. The red line is the supply line to release the parking brake on the trailer, and the blue line is to supply air when applying the service brake.
Red is supply and blue is return
Brand new PRIMO
Excelente instructor muy buena persona apoya en el proceso de la licencia comercial recomendado al 100%
Gracias mi amigo Realmente te aprecio
This video actually helps. I totally forgot about the temperature and oil gauge readings. Forgot about the amount of def tank fuel remaining in the reservoir. 😮
🐐
Appreciate you !!!!!!!🤙🏽
Thanks a lots.
Can you do another coupling one but with you showing us the towing wires/cables because I really need that down.
Towing wires? You mean like Blue Reverse lights. • Green Right turn / brakes. • Yellow Left turn / brakes. • Brown Taillights. º White Ground?
Thank you im using this video as my homework video for cdl school
Appreciate you!!!!
I’m your number one fannnn!!! 😝

Congratulations 🎉🎊🎈 I’m glad these videos helped What state are you in and what dmv did you go to ?
Do you have to mention the governor cut in or just the cut out ?
Cut out
On point . Thank you
I wish he’d talk about the thing that’s in the middle of the leaf spring and the things holding the leaf spring up. I can’t remember what it’s called
You mean the 2 u bolts? And spacer? Or the steering axle ,tie rod and steering knuckle help me help you 🫤
Spring mount and bushing is what I was talking abt that’s holding up the Leaf Springs.
@@classaschoolcali yea it was the U bolts is what I was talking about!
Can you do one on the leaf springs and that area in the engine? Not the fluids but like shock absorbers area. I’m from KS and there are a few different parts I haven’t seen to many videos on
So front of the tractor suspension parts and brakes?
Yes
@@austinhernandez7206 I got you. I will upload in shorts today
@@classaschoolcalican you add why it is important to? That’s what’s new on our test this year, WHY is all the parts we are going to name important
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Love this very helpful!
Appreciate you
Bro you killed that shit and I wanna be like you when I grow up. All bullshit aside. Great video. God bless you my man. You’ve helped a lot of people. I know that feels good
Appreciate you and thanks for the kind words much love 👊🏽
Best instructor, this video cuts straight to the point, it’s has helped me tremendously!!! Keep up the great work 😊
Thank you. Keep up the good work 💪🏼💪🏼
Nice works
Best teacher ever
Appreciate you !!!!
We learned in school with a 13 speed. But same concept its actually a 9speed .1-4low and high(5-8) snd reverse and low low. You split gears 5-8 giving you the 13 speeds. Ir was pretty easy to learn. Not that much movements of the shifter like a ten speed
This is a good video i got my 1st test on February 22 next month im watching this to remember everything i can.
Appreciate you !!!! And good luck. Lmk if you have any questions
Got my cdl in March with no restrictions. Thank you!
@jasonx409able good job brotha.
I want to give a special thanks to the team over at San Jose Trucking School. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and gave me every bit of info that led me to passing my DMV Class A test. I recommend anyone looking to get their commercial driver's license to check them out. Shout out to the home team Richie, John, Dave, and Candy for all the help and motivation along the way. Thank you, Isaiah A

I took my CDL test yesterday and failed 🥲 i knew i was gonna fail on something stupid and it was. It was over the damn applied air brake test. I was at the part where you start pumping the brakes until the light and buzzer come on. The thing about the truck we used is that it kinda "glitches" for a quick sec when you do it. What i mean by this is that when youre pressing on the brakes and the air pressure is dropping along with the needle. As it's dropping, at one point it'll randomly turn on and off for a quick half a second. It'll do this when it's around 75 psi. But my error was that i didnt count it at that point because it doesnt give you a proper reading. The needle is still dropping. And then the light and buzzer finally stay on at about 60 psi. Thats when i counted it. But the examiner said that wasnt correct 😐
I’m confused So did you ever give a number /reading when the first light came on?
@@classaschoolcali I didn't give the first number when they first came on because like I said they only turned on for half a second before they turned off. I didn't think they would count that
Ok let me say this. (BOTH THE LIGHT AND BUZZER MUST STAY ON)when reading off that number to the examiner The light comes on first, then the buzzer They usually both activate around 60 psi If the buzzer happens to go off while trying to figure out the number, then press the brake again to make it come back on If that makes sense
@@classaschoolcali that's exactly what I'm trying to say. And I read the psi when they stayed on but they still failed me 😑
How about you e mail me and leave your number then I can call you tomorrow if that’s cool. And I can tell you exactly where you went wrong. Cause it’s sounds like what you said is right Classa573@gmail.com
I'm doing automatic do I have to build air pressure back up first to reverse the truck slightly to remove the chock before doing the tug test?
Correct. Build the pressure back up then remove the chalk then continue with tractor trailer service brake
@classaschoolcali Thanks man I appreciate you 🙏
@classaschoolcali when I remove the chalk should I turn off the truck and take the keys with me?
@@emeraldcrown6332 that would be the safe thing to do. I would ask the examiner if he or she wants you to chalk the wheels from the beginning of your test Do not forget to exit and return to cab with 3 points of contact
@classaschoolcali Thanks sir I have my test coming up soon and I just want to get this down. You're helping alot of us man thanks
Could you be very slow because i do not understand english well ,i have difficult to follow you
Once the video is playing 1.click the gear ⚙️ icon in upper right hand corner 2.playback speed You can slow it down as much as you need to 👍🏼
