You did a thorough evaluation of one of the most important issues of this era👍🏽 The thing that struck me was the presentation where all the global chaos they'd caused was the proof of what these analytics can do. Their parent company trained operatives for psychological warfare. The Indian/Black youth uprising just so the blacks wouldn't vote, "for the cause", just seemed so wrong. It also legitimized propaganda & blatant lies. Also, Brittany was on her way to face the senate, knowing what they'd done for trump, when Russia was busted borrowing from their playbook. Swooped on & took the blame. Diversion? I would have thought folks would be appalled & outraged at being manipulated to that extent. I am! That's why I only browsed once for any length of time. I was made to get angry one step at a time. Happy, happy, joy, joy ... real nasty ... happy, happy, joy, joy ... mean spirited ... etc. Until I exploded & responded in lecture mode. I know your heart is in the right place but speaking as one of those people who are supposed to be harder to train, I have been employed long enough to see that the American culture and underlying subcultures are the reason so many people are stuck in positions that SEEM to be not expandable. I also see people half my age in the exact same position. Andrew's a good guy and all but he knows very little about economics. Very few Americans know because they weren't made to learn such things. If they had, they would have realized that expecting to work at one particular position for their entire life is a very foolish thought, ESPECIALLY in America. Bus alas, that belief is part of the subculture.
As a fellow Asian, the Great Hack itself is also a propaganda video. Ask yourself, during 2016 election, did you receive more left or right side commercials in FB or RUclips? I would say I saw 4 times more commercials for Clinton. But privacy issue is real. Don't get brainwashed.
LukNoFurther the legislation we need is personal data protection laws. Europe has one where our personal data should not go out of the country. Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc need to stop harvesting our personal data.
