I have a CAD background using Autocad, Solidworks,& CREO, and definitely want to design my own 3D files. It sounds like Aspire is the best way to model my own files. Agreed? Any suggestions on where to learn Aspire in a quick manner?

I like the process figuring shtuff out. Not sure it was the easiest way but it worked! Pin your centering tools on the main menu. Way faster for a tool used all the time.

Those top feeders literally are the best feeders, and I have been doing the same thing you do for years. The only problem I have with them is my Russians are such angry bees in hot, humid weather, like we've had in Missouri, they will swarm you. My others, no problem. I can't smoke any of my bees, as it makes them angrier. I just use light sugar water. Just ordered 3 more candyboards. Thank you!

Under "Machined Area Color" there's an option for Lithophane Preview... saves lots of steps.

Where did you reverse the image? Did you just bring in a negative image from the computer? Those steps were unclear - timeline 3:50 to 4:10

Hi Robert, really love your video - I’ve watched it several times over a few months bc I keep forgetting the info - I finally made my candy board 🎉😅❤, was as easy as you show. High quality product for sure! I didn’t put anything on the bottom between the screen and sugar. When I put it on the hive it was bumped up leaving an 1/8” gap. Adding the wood made it worse. I just cinched everything down tight with my strap but now there’s no bee space. Anyway, wondering how to do this better next time? I’m thinking a little spacer might be in order😊

how do you keep from robbing bees getting into your hive through the top?

Cutting handholds like this will result in losing fingers, one knot and dulling blade will drag your hand across the cutter, seen it. Simply assemble the boxes before cutting hold eliminates the risk

Hey. Spindle RPM = VFD-Freq x 60 sek (for a 2 pole spindle). 400 Hz = 24000 rpm. 358.8 Hz = 21528 rpm . so you're measurement are pretty close.
