Hello,
I'm Mr. Speckles welcome to my adventures. I am a Border Collie and I love playing with my chickens and ducks. I'm also pretty good with soccer balls and other sports stuff. Here at our little homestead we are creating a peaceful viewing and listening experience for you our viewers. Our videos and clips have no people, and no talking. Occasionally we will ad some music, but mostly just nature sounds, Mr. Speckles panting after a run, the chickens clucking, rooster crowing, ducks quacking and song birds singing.
Our videos are laid back and relaxed. Just animals and nature. No people or manufactured scenarios, other than the occasional pile of food for the birds to eat. I just film some beautiful sights and sounds for you to enjoy. Put this on in the background, or maybe for your young one (kid, cat, or dog). So today was a long day.... We had our ups and downs. The birds are doing well had had another feast. The ducks are hanging out in their new area and munching on all of the weeds. And Mr. Speckles had a good day until his curiosity got the better of him. Apparently he discovered a copperhead snake in the yard at some point and it bit his leg. There is no footage of the snake in the video, or his injury. But he is doing much better today. He is heavily medicated and recovering. His leg is very swollen but he should be up an running in no time.

Tropical storm Debby hit us and we got a bunch of rain. Lots of sticks to clean up and a few close calls with falling branches. Our duck hutch miraculously survived unscathed after the top of a poplar tree fell on it but some how didn't crush it. After everyone being cooped up for a few days (dog and people included) we got some time to go out and play. Everything is dirty but we are working on...

Love this. I have fallen in love with birds, including chickens and ducks. I've only let my Silkie hen hatch chicks and that was probably 3 years ago. She hatched 2 Dutch Bantam chicks (I purchased the eggs) and still to this day, the 3 of them are inseparable. Those little girls love their mama and their mama loves them. They're so sweet ❤️ Are these chicks from this hens eggs?
This is a bit of a mix. We have three roosters so its a guess who belongs to who. But It will be fun to see who each of them end up looking like.
I hang corn, lettuce, apples for my chickens, they Love it! But don't ever feed them citrus! Not good for them!
Chicken can have citrus in moderation, especially if it’s just for an occasional treat. Some eat it up and others won’t.

Omg where did yall find a speckled border?! My mentor breeds borders and has never been able to get a speckled border. She did just get blues after 25 years of breeding. We're expecting a litter next week.
We found him on a farm in wester NC. He is a handsome boy. Its funny we had rarely seen a border collie with this pattern before he came home with us. Now I seem to see it more often.

From the way that chicken is acting she's not really happy about her foster kid. Just wait until that duck wants to swim.
She is very happy! You will see in the full video when it gets posted tomorrow! She is very nurturing rotating the eggs and making sure they are warm. She also takes bites of food to give to them. Before long they will be part of their duck family where they can swim, but right now this hen is doing a great job.
Why’d you shave that dog?
He get one haircut a year. Every spring we cut it short because it gets REALLY hot here. Also he likes it!
