Lightworks Tutorial: Fix FRAPS Frame Stutter

FRAPS encoded videos when imported to Lightworks can often result in frames stuttering or artifacting. This is because FRAPS video are encoded as a variable frame rate and needs to be converted to a constant frame rate before it can be used in Lightworks.

Instead of building a new rig I decided to see how water cooling could help me extend the life of my CPU. Worst case scenario was that I would have to build a new rig anyway and could re-use the water cooling kit in the new build.
I came from the year 2024 to tell you that you dont need to use the actual remote control, the sensor bar will pick up any IR sensors. I saw someone who got a pair of saftey glasses with LED lights on each side , they just swapped out the LEDs for IR sensors and it worked.
whats the cover over the one led for?
one led is for pitch and yaw but two is needed for roll. i dont think the program supports roll and it just glitches out
help, i formated the comp, i used re central 4 and live gamer mini, it records fine but in lightworks every few seconds it sticks/shutters abit. using win 10. exported the video and it plays fine
having a flight shticc would just literally scream that i am gaming to the entire house, so i do mouse flying....i was hoping to use the webcam on the laptop to track my eyes but looks like anything related to head tracking has to wait until i save enough to buy a PC 2 years later....

Hey, my yaw axis is triggering the pitch too. I cant just turn right it will also input a lot of pitch. Only happens with the yaw, when pitching, it doesnt get any input for yaw
i can overclock it on intel cooler?
Finally a use for my wii remote that was collecting dust. Screw even buying any expensive solution, this does the job.
did it say you need a wii for this however to power on the sensor bar?
For everyone asking if it works with their phone: If you have an Android/windows phone with a gyroscope it *should* work

I can't get Opentrack to see the data from my phone. Tried doing port forwarding etc in the router but opentrack is not seeing anything from my phone with FreePIE
Hey man I'm surprised people are still finding this video. It's very old so I have no idea if this still works. Sorry I can't be much more help. If you get it going you can probably make your own tutorial!
@@thedkwyproject6348 People are probably still finding it because there's such little information about how to get this working. The tutorial provided by the creator doesn't have any sort of troubleshooting, so if it doesn't "just work" then people are stuck.
I do everything same as you but octopus wont turn...its not working.
I finally got my lost phone recovered by Willshack7 on Instagram check him out i highly recommend him!
Would you recommend this or the WII solution?
kinda late but if you can get an webcam, or use the phone as a webcam, and use an aruco marker. tracks better and gives you 3 degrees more of movement.

Awesome idea until you realise you can't see the screen when you turn your head.
Thats why you keep your eyes on your screen
bruh u dumb asf did you hear about the sensitivity part? the tracking is more sensetive than real life therefore the most movement you will do to actually see the screen is a little bit of eye movement to the left, right, down, or up.
I know this video is 4 years old but does this work with intugame vr

I can get it set up and it tracks ... but it's super shaky ..... none of the sliders seem to help, any idea?

Ten out of ten. Cleared everything up, explained everything, and most of all, saved me money. Absolutely underrated, this guy gave me everything. Put every possible link that could explain something that he felt he couldn't do well, and included links that were in the video so I DIDN'T have to try to pause and catch the link that was visible for one frame. The WiinMote link didn't work for me, but I got around that via Internet Archive (looks at previous versions of websites)

When I put my video recorded by xSplit Broadcaster into handbrake, it said 1 error or cancelation detected. What do I do?
No idea lol never used xsplit. However not sure why you need to put it through handbrake as you're probably already recording in h264 into an mp4 wrapper. Lightworks or Premiere can work with those files directly.
i have aproblem when i finished editing my video and went to check it the frame rate was HORIBLE ti was like 1 frame per second anyone know how to fix that

The wiinmote.exe not work properly because when I connect wiimote to the pc, everything out of the rail. My controller clicks what every found it. And it is return to not usable :/. This happens only when I'm use the wiinmote.exe I usually use the HIDWiimote for the clone hero but, HID not have a yaw axis and not functionable.

You can use gyroscopic mouse for head tracking

Just buy a gyro mouse and connect it to your pc and put it to your head and done The cursor will follow if you look up, down, left, and right
@@lnasilvia it will interact with the game if u are flying with mouse. it needs to be detected as a differnt HID like joystick

It works but everything is off calibrated, camera is flying around cannot get it calibrated no matter what i do even tried to calibrate 1 axis only...

@@GoatzAreEpic yes i fixed, i downloaded different versions of that software, tried with 4-5 times till it worked, but right now i have the Htc vive with trackers, i haven't checked this software in a while
I did that but when I imported it through Hand Brake and tried to bring it up on Lightworks, it was just a black screen for the full length of the video....
Hey man lightworks has obviously changed a lot since I made this video. I haven't been editing a lot lately so I can't say if this method still works.
I'd advise to move away from recording with fraps and try something like OBS instead.

I bought a new Sabertooth x58 for 50 bucks on closeout in 2015. My I7 920 is running at 4.2 ghz with H110 and a 4gig videocard + 12 gig ddr3 1600 ram. Runs most games fine on high detail @ 1440. max temps are 57C
In general a good video, you just missed it on capital expenditures. Those expenditures go into capital, as the name implies, not into the operational calculations. Therefore, if the the company decides to stop spending on capital, its financial situation remains almost the same. Beyond declining gross profit, Tesla's big problem is with SG&A expenses, which are increasing linearly with the number of cars sold. Most likely this is due to costs incurred after sales that other car manufactures do not face: service centres, charging stations, solar panels, etc.
Hey thanks for watching, yea I didn't look too carefully at the SG&A but you make a good point about the increasing cost of after sales expenses. It'd be interesting to track the trend of their warranties expense but that might be included in the cost of sales anyway. About the capex, I might not have been clear but if they stop spending on capex they would at least be almost cash flow positive. However if they do that then they lose their claim to being a 'growth company' and essentially admit to financial difficulty.
If my computer is connected to the network via cable, will it still work? I cant make it work, tried opening port 5555 but nothing. I have a Moto G5S.
BrunoRasera it should work my computer was connected via cable too, I haven't done this in awhile though.
With the Headtracker app , you can use USB, and use face tracking with webcam for full 6DOF...X-Y-Z...I use the facetracknoir software to handle both..

How do i connect the sensor bar to my pc monitor?
Sensor bar is just lights, the real camera is in the remote. You can just plug the sensor bar into the Wii and connect the remote to computer
Doesn't work at all for windows 10 with the latest update.. Wii controller won't connect. Or it says it's paired, just won't wortk with wiinremote.
