Magolor Soul pulled that same shit on me too when I first fought him. The way they altered that Black Hole attack was ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVIL. Like, somebody designing this boss decided to be a REAL psychopath for a good minute. And the worst part is, you know damn well EVERYBODY playing this fell for that. Like, let's be real here, we all got faked out by that attack on our first time fighting this guy.

To everyone who had trouble with this move, you can use what I like to call "Copy Block". You can avoid damage from literally anything if you swallow a Copy Ability at just the right time. You're completely invincible for a split-second after the animation. I like to do this a lot as a last little pop-off when replaying this Arena (which btw is the easiest True Arena IMO) If you didn't have your ability at the end of this fight, idk how to help you...

I actually do these challenges all the time. On occasion I'll draw different forms of Kirby abilities like how forgotten land does theirs. and I'll do a random ability true arena run to decide which one to do next. Although the way I do it is a little different, instead I pick one ability at random and if I die I roll again.

I miss Splatoon, it is nostalgic but Splatoon 3 is just better. The game is pretty similar because it has some of the old splatoon 1 maps and is bringing back the weapons so there isn't really much to miss except for the squid jump minigame.

I was wondering about this and after seeing this I’m glad I escaped Bowser’s Castle in time bc for me Cackletta’s Soul was hard and it took a lot of Mario deaths don’t know how many but at best 15-20 Mario deaths and 0 Luigi deaths (I used cheats but I balanced it by all of my stats being 100 or a little above with healing items and it did give me some challenge except against Bowletta and Cackletta’s Soul my stats were 200 or a little above Bowletta wasn’t that bad but against Cackletta’s Soul wanted me to bring Mario to the gym bc the BS mechanic of Mario being too heavy is just so unfair! At least I beat the game)

the better gourmet race :D the original rtdl used a different kirby voice clip for this moment, so it's fair to say that this masterpiece wouldn't have existed without the existence of rtdl dx also you can clearly see that the final attack specifically hit the crown (which was what caused it to go haywire and engulf magolor), neat

unfortunate you didn't use Sand Canyon 2 from DL3 (that's the only version of Gourmet Race I can stand without going insane from how many times I've heard that damn song), but that is more than made up for by the sheer effort put into this musical memepost
