thats why you get a pro to teardown a outboard what the first owner didwas really wrong as an ex outboard mechanic was in my knowledge thiswas really a bad way totreat s outboard like that as i really see thiswas a common sort of stuff up by carerless boaters thiswas really a careless way on how totreat a really good outboard like the Johnsons of that size and horsepower rating as i had seen thhis in my time as a outboard mechanic and i knew thiswas really a very bad disaster in my eyes mate as i knew i have never come across this in my time in the outboard motorwrecking shop where i was working at the timewas on 24 years ago now but i knew thsiwas a really a bad way totreat a nice outboard in futre thiswas a bad way in my views in the trade thiswas really very bad thiswas should been done by a good mechanic like me was really in the know on these outboards was my views hereas a ex outboard mechanic i knew thiswas a really a good way of fixing a outboard and theres was the bad ways of fixing a outboard the better ways was take your time in doin these teardowns really take your time id do that all the time in my trade as a outboard mechanic in my years in the boating scene i read up on theese motor when they was new they was really good these smaller Johnsons made by OMC wss a really good outboard makers in the day so theese outboard will live forever if given the eight care and maint and servicnging they are really good motor they live forever if cared for right in the first place in my views thiswas based on the motor i had serviced in the outboard shop i had worked for them a few weeks but i had learnt a ton on theese outboards thiswas based on what i knew
