Great version
Eight years later with my view/comment. I’ve been listening to him for many years. Such a brilliant person and artist. Definitely influenced me in a emotional way but more so in a hallelujah way!
The lead guitar solo is one of my favorites .
Written and originally recorded by the great Charlie Rich. Check it out! He recorded for Sun Records in Memphis soon after Elvis left.
Looking for songs for my band to cover. Remembered this song, my RI band covered it back in the 70's. Incredible tune, voice and lead guitar are unreal.
Great tune...there's a Canadian country band that did this song..in the 80s ..c-weed
The one and only Amazing Rhythm Aces!!
My whole small town on the prairies in western Canada listened to the Aces constantly for about 4 years👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏
just really good ...
A great song from one of the best and most underrated bands of the 70s.
Heavenly bliss! This is one of these songs which I can't stop listening to!
Thank you for posting this. I love this band and was so sad when they broke up years ago.
I recently discovered this one and third rate romance. Great vocals and guitars imo.
The keyboard part reminds me of the song "Brandy" 🤫
One of them songs you don’t want to stop and just want guitarist Barry Burton to keep playing that thing out cause it’s a gem of a song and Russell Smith could write some good ones too 3:56
All this running town to town. Brings me back Home. Trying to keep up with everything. Turns sad when you think of where you come from. So, I guess you knew it all along. Guess her memories are here to stay. Hooray.
This is why old guys like me don't do TikTok or shit like that. What a find!
When the guitar solo on this song starts on "Too Stuffed to Jump",, it will bring tears of joy to your eyes. This is one of the best Southern Rock bands of all time and the guitar solo is up there with Aqualung.
I recently rediscovered this gem. Now I can't stop listening to it!
Yes, I'm hooked with this song!!!!!
I love this song easy listening
Great, GREAT TUNE .....solo .....and of course Russell Smith' voice. Got to see the Aces just once .....great time, even got to meet the band. This song is a great cruising song, make a lot of miles down the road with this one driving you on !!! RIP Russell ....and thanks !!!!
GOD 'THIS GIRL IS GOOD'''THANKS ASH'''BEAUTIFUL SONG;;;
who is the tour guide?
Why can't I find a proper copy of this song. Is it not on one of her albums. I had it on a compilation years ago and that sounded like a studio version. Great song!!
This song is on: The Hardest Part Album
One of the Greatest albums of all time "To Stuffed to Jump" I Love this Band! 3:07
"Stacked Deck" is the best
This band is aways a sweet southern satisfying ride.( and live makes my heart jump)
Indeed
2024 and the end is still not in sight ... RIP Russell Smith, we'll see you on the other side!
My fathers favorite band . Saw them in san diego at belly up. The best
I saw em at the Armadillo in 1977 I think! FANTASTIC!!!
OMG shes Amazing ❤
Great voice ! Great band ! Should have her own world tour !
This is exactly what the world needs more of NOW!
I have this song on my Apple Music playlist. Love it
I worked with a band in the late 70's that covered a number of ARA songs really well. They were always fan favorites!! 🌹
Love me some Aces !
Maybe my favorite band of all time. Fortunate enough to have seen them several times.
This song is the human predicament, set to beautiful music. ❤
Amen to that brother 🤙
Ashley is fantastic!
Out of Country music 🎶 this is my favorite ❤ you Russell RIP
And all that made that band ❤yall
They should have been best of their time RIP RUSSELL ❤
That's a fact.2 can do it 2💙✌
This was one of my favorite songs of my late "Rowena" we used to play this song when we went for a cruise 😢❤
One of the best bands ever!
Wonderful memories keep flowing in my mind ❤😂😂❤
Man those were the days before the midi/electronic keyboards took over. Nice to see a Fender Rhodes and B3 Hammond being played.
James Hooker was a great keyboard player. Billy Earhart on organ was great too.
Great music by a great but underrated band. Bless up boys.
love these guys ... just discovered them via a tune of theirs covered by Dwight Yoakam
ONE MINE ruclips.net/video/hAj5VRCkllI/видео.html
ABSOLUTELY >
..sing it right or shut the fuck up!
They had a good number of hits in the 80’s, Russel Smith also wrote many hits for other artists. They had a real career and continued until Smiths death, so far from a Flash-in-the-pan.
