Know I’m a bit late but I just wanted to point out that there are two members of f5ve (the Japanese girl group you reacted to with the song about Lettuce) present in the video: - Rui (2:55, the one in the center) - Kaede (4:09, the one with ginger hair) I was completely surprised to see the both of them here since this video popped up on my recommended and I’ve only just begun getting into f5ve due to how silly they are on social media 😭😭

All of their songs are incredibly catchy, but don't call them Pop. ;) Wait until you get into the rest of their catalog, it's banger after banger after banger! They don't do "filler" tracks! Nice that you react to BAND-MAID, one of the best rock bands today. This song is kind of complicated and not 100% easy to get into. They have two or thee more songs that are likewise. The have made so many different songs. The more popular to look at today are "Hate?" and "Domination" and "Don't you tell me". Another thing: you need to do something about your sound quality. There is no bass in it.

Pharita pronounces her name as Parita. She introduces herself in interviews that way. The ending of the video refers back to the beginning of the video. They opened the invitations and the shoes were through out the video. There might be some significance to the shoes and the invitation for their title track. But the invitation was part of their promotion and teasers for this song. This song is the most BABYMONSTER in concept and lyrics. If you go along with the duality like their big sisters BLACKPINK then BABY would be youthful, cute, adorable and I guess you could also say a new beginning. Their MONSTER side is the fearce, sassy and the talent to be able to pull off any genre that they want to do. The song on the surface sounds really cute and fun loving. The video also adds the visual to that concept but the lyrics is really their monster side. From the opening verse saying that they are going to do what they want no matter what people say and if you don't like it then just leave. The rap verses are even more of a flex asking what is the difference between you and me. I get rocks worth a million that you haven't ever seen in your life. The song is almost passive aggressive since it hides behind their youthful nature and playful attitude. Basically, go through the lyrics and tell me if they are addressing their haters or not.

Things that you are missing- oh heck yes. You missed so much not knowing their history. They all sing lead depending on the song and the situation. Most of their older stuff is hard rock. Their new stuff is much more radio friendly (sad to say). Here is some history and your homework- The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. They're dipping their toes into some other genres but I think they remain a rock band...typically hard rock. Watch their performance of 'Evolve' on the MTV Award video and you'll notice the difference almost immediately. They're young, probably around your age and likely will continue experimenting! Enjoy!
