Itr2 is very poorly optimized for even mid range gaming computers, however, it did just get experimental optimizations, which does greatly improve performance, itr2 kinda ruined the whole vibe for me tho, the enemies feel more human than anomalies and stuff. the reason itr1 was so scary for me when I first played was because the enemies felt more immersive, also itr2 enemies have insane accuracy, they rarely miss a shot, especially the marksmen however, something cool i found out is that you can push around their dead body as it floats up, I just find it neat that they added collision to dead enemies

I've got the original version on Arizona Sunshine. The remake looks like an entire new game! I almost didn't recognize it. Great video! It's obvious you put so much work into it. But DANG!! You have to periodically "retrain" the Index controllers for finger tracking. What you do is take your fingers and drum them, sequentially a few times, on the controller handle -- like some impatient jerk. This tells the Index where each individual finger will rest on the controller and updates it's finger tracking.

Kinda sucks that ITR1 didn't even get a mod for co-op or update for co-op, I would LOVE to play it with a friend who doesn't have nearly as powerful PC to run ITR2

You can crawl around like a rat at the beginning of the game with a TT-33 and get the AKM and AK74 + some magazines early. You can also buy 7.62x39 early because of the SKS, this is pretty much my go to when I play the game.

The point of the M4 is that it has all modularity unlocked out the box. You don't need to buy any rail adapters and its got a bolt hold open. I'm not gonna use it but c tier is too low. Borderlining commie slander 😢

I always liked this game, and it was so reasonably priced for this sort of game when it was brand new. It's been a while since I played, I think my main complaint was that the final creature we escape from at the end was pretty easy.
