CFD flow aroung rear car wing - test 1
This is CFD simulation performed in TYCHO around "half rear wing"
This simulation uses "new" export feature -- pressure_on_solid. Actually file used to be there but there was no quantity in it so I attempted to add this to solver and succed. This quantity is later used to calculate lift and drag of object. At the moment I have no idea if numbers are RIGHT at least they correspond to pressure all around object so they at least look reasonable.
Altrough in this case wing have really poor D/L coefficient. At the moment I'm running simulation in higher resolution to check possible difference. Also I would like to run this simulation on unmodiffied solver with just POS addedet if there will be a...

This is CFD simulation performed in TYCHO 1.3.3 (custom modifications to code base) on locost car front grill with fully duct-ed radiators. This is a bit more advanced simulation for a wheel on my locost. Advanced in both terms - more grid resolution (50%) and also geometry of wheel is evolved a little compared to previous simulation. This video shows simulation of flow around wheel on racecar at 27.7m/s. This map have it all. Fast pace, lot of enemies, bit of verticality and great music. Music is what really shape good map into great one. One thing I can say for sure there will be more of this one in a future :D

how much ram memory?
Roughly : 3GB for computation in TYCHO 2TB of computed datas 50GB ram for parallel postprocessing in paraview.

Very nice result, have you considered switching to PEI to save weight on the y to gain accel there?
Thanks! Actually this time is not best at the moment. I realized that I setup max print speed to 200mm/s (açcording to X axis max speed) but since most of movement is composite of X&Y I can achieve 265mm/s. So this simple change and more clamps on bed shaved almost 2 minutes from run. I will post it when replacement BL-touch arrive. For fighting different weight on axis I use different sized motors. Also I was considering using motor on both pulleys for Y. PEI will probably not replace glass for me because I do want to benefit from speedboat somehow and I do really like glass flatness. What I want to do is design my own bed holder - stock one is just too heavy and I had to modify it anyway because of bigger motor.

I had been playing vanila DooM in dos on my 386 back in 1996-7. I'm glad that I still can use ports like prboom2 to go as vanilla compatible as possible, but I preffer mouse look, high resolution and pretty much 25 years of engine evolution. On the other hand if doom2.exe can run BTSX that is insane, and I will definettly give it a try in dosbox :D

That kind of music is pretty much trend in doom mapping. And tbh I love that huge difference between violence and beautiful music. Personally for me best combo is Sunlust map02 even considering song was not written for doom map in first place.

How did you enable the Plans tab?
Not sure what "plans tab" is - but technology tree is "T". And if you mean how you go trough different blueprints -- you pick one and scroll with mouse wheel (this can be very confusing if made by mistake). To be honest I do not use most of advanced features in Factorio, but feel free to ask :)

thanks - it still needs lot of twaking. Especially early game is so slow (compared to experienced runners), when I roll on 1h mark I barelly have mall finished. I should play lot of early game and push it like 15min down from mall time. Even mall is build in noob fashion block by block...
