I filmed a lot less on Saturday compared to Friday and it comes down to the rain that happened that night which canceled plowing.

Such beautiful steam locomotives. Steam locomotives are my absolute favorite part of the hobby
Nice haul Jack! Really like those locks thats a neat find

Use powder graphite on your "journal" bearings on the tender trucks. Oil will gum up over time and swell the plastic. As for oil, a synthetic will last longer. Micromark has an oil needle dispenser that I have used for 20+ years and works great. The kersosene mix will evaporate and gum up. The petroleum base will adversely effect the plastic. -Old guy who has done it all (wrong).
Aren't the contact wheels supposed to be alternated two one one side two on the other or are they all supposed to be on the same rail on the tender?
All on same side. The locomotive provides contact with other rail. What you suggest would create a dead short.
Is this the locomotive you brought to train club today also are you going to bring in at European locomotive in
Ahh yes the small boi
Is this a club layout
Do you own this engine
Mallards bearings during her record breaking run
I was there when this video was taken. In fact that milw box car's mine
Nice video
Thanks
What a beautiful Nickle Plate Locomotive! I wonder who owns it....
Be even better if it was steam
Nice repair job. Glad to see it running!
I also recently had to tear up my old layout for a new layout. I thought it would take long but it only took a couple hours
Happy New Year
Hey man, just wanted to thank you for letting me know my boilers upside down.
Make sure for when you do grass paint the base board brown then sprincle the grass ontop it looks much more realistic that way.
7:38 gee that guy on the other side of the fence looks familiar. Cant think of who that is
That guy at the end looked like a dumb ass lol... Good video Jack sucks the wind was so bad that day I'm surprised how it shook the phone when you had it up on the tripod
He did pretty well. Want to say he kicked our ass’s when it comes to distance travled but we never measured any.
Glad to see you got that engine going again Jack! Definitely runs much better now after being took apart
Was wondering when we would see that engine
I wanted to have it up last week but my storage said no
Another thing I convinced him to buy 😆
Tbh I was thinking about getting it the first lap through the flea market
Jack what's your opinion on those pancake motors vs the normal stile motor's? Any advantages all I've heard are disadvantages.
It is true that pancake drives are at a disadvantage when compared to standard gear drives. But on advantage I can think of is how cheap parts and common parts are. For example almost every motor shares the same armature and brushes.
@@waterlevelproductions482 does size help any? I have noticed they are a bit smaller
0:25 OH MY GOD THATS CHEATING!!!!!
It’s just a handy banker
Wonder how long it took before it could fly in a straight line again
What in the hell
So how much effort goes into running one of those engines? Could you do a video on starting one
Not much. In the condition that it was in we had it apart for almost a month when we got it. But I’ll do a video on the thing sometime this month or next spring when it’s warmer.
Jack this is Jon Masons friend from the show today we talked on the traction engine
Cool Video!
Papa lionel fixed it
I rescued him from a house full of his sisters friends to see the choo choos on choo choo day
Exactly
Good luck fixing it!
So he did get his homework done
I wonder who's walking there
Less then adequate
Funny enough your engines cab roof has less paint missing than mine
I wanna buy it for my son.. can someone please let me know where can i get it.
The just locomotive or the whole set
eBay
Nice dude. It sucks that crescent sleeper got destroyed in shipping. Really sucks. The Milwaukee Road set looks good though. Great haul. 🤘
The sleeper was for a good price even though I wouldn’t be able to run it with the crescent cars due to it having horn hooks. The plan was to put kaydee 505s knuckles on the car and the rest of the cars
Nice dude. Love the collection you got. Especially the classic Lionel stuff I’ve seen in your previous vids. You’ve earned a sub. 🤘
Like the engine. Great sounds.
2:44 certified goofy moment
That's old lionel, I think it's working as designed, just a little finicky.
That rail is merely a paperweight!
And yours is a doorstoper
Atleats we didn't give a mpc gondola PTSD from almost being crushed alive
@@OldIronVideo actually it was a Menards car

Well any thoughts on why it’s doing that?
