A really good fighting game coming when it's ready. There's also a new development version of the game this month, but I'll probably skip that for now. Then play again when it's ready or more ready. I'm making a new video and this month there will be a lot of new games for C64 again.

@@retrogamingdino I was pointing out that the algorithm in the arcade cabinet would never allow those rounds to land so close together, at least I've never seen it happen.

Relaxing game, nothing too much and it works. When I was playing this, I was wondering if it was even possible to clear the entire screen, but it is possible. The starting point and direction just have to be right. There are different games and not all people are interested in the same games. And of course you don't need to, but that's not the games fault. 🙂

Thank you for your comments. I played Quest for Two many times and it's not bad. The game has probabilities in percentages of what you should choose at any time. The game has been published at Computer-Treffen Kärnten, where a game is often created in a limited time.

It's a sign of the times. We've not had so many new games since the 80s. Along with all the good stuff, you get a ton of crapware.

In the 80s, one popular game type was text adventures. This is an improved idea because it has a joystick control, so you don't have to type anything and you can enjoy the story. It's great that it was translated for the C64 as an English version. 👍

Thank you for the comment. I can't directly suggest a suitable game idea for you, but could you find a good idea among the Spectrum games I've played? My channel has had new Spectrum games for over a year now and they are often quite innovative due to the limitations of the machine. Perhaps an idea could be found among them, which with a little improvement would make a good game for C64. Good luck for searching 🙂👍

Yep but using only 2 bitplanes in Cecconoid (there is red, too) probably allows the special effects, numerous particles, 10 channels audio, butter-smooth gameplay etc etc. Okay, I wrote 3 similar posts to answer 3 similar concerns ;-)

Not so fast ! Cecconoid IS really impressive with its particles system, 10 channels audio system, butter smooth twin-stick gameplay with achievements ! Tony is monochrome indeed but sounds & plays super well. Shift is indeed "low tech" but has an original gameplay. :)

Heh, actually, Cecconoid is pushing a lot of limits if you take the time to look & listen at it ! It plays wonderfully obviously, but also displays tons of particles and plays TEN audio channels instead of four. It is also one of the rare games which is meant to be played with dual sticks and has a achievements system. There are quite a few other games coming that push the limits. Reshoot Proxima 3, incredible bullet hell game (already released) ; GRIND, doom like running on a Amiga 500 ; Metro Siege ; Jump!... Not to mention the demoscene.

It's coming, it's coming... looks very good and playable. 👍
