"Both of them, both, both have fallen" was a very famous cry of joy made by a Croatian soldier Filip Gaćina during the time of the Homeland war in Croatia. The famous sentence was recorded on video by Ivica Bilan, September 21st 1991.
These words hold a lot of value in the collective memory of the Croatian people, as those words gave them hope and emboldened the soldiers to stay strong and fight against the aggressor.
