keep an eye on that light for overheating and melting everything, I did a similar conversion on a Lambretta scooter years back and a new high-powered light melted the wiring harness and the reflector and browned the glass off so much it was dimmer, it was when xenon kits first went on sale, I didn't use a heat sink or ballast doh !

I got a crewman cross8 when I drive it for 100km it’s like it’s choking for fuel and surges and splatters. also the fuel gauge will drop from full to half straight away would this be a fuel pump problem??.

got a cross 8 with the wrong sender which creates the fuel guage issue. its also for sale

Thanks for this mate, had exactly the same symptoms, fuel gauge on empty, also had an error on cluster “fuel gauge error contact dealer”. Was cranking but not starting

I am trying to do this on my Vy 3.8 crewman was wondering where you got the fuel pump lock tool to get into the tank? I just don't want to spend $120 on the wrong one.

Just ordered one for my kx450f (which I’m planning on making street legal) and the description said it was plug-n-play on all fuel injected 4-strokes, which to me sounds weird cause all different manufacturers have their own plugs i reckon.. Been doing alot of research on this lighting subject and found Baja Designs makes two different headlights for motocross, depending on your stator output, and to fit them to your bike they make different wiring kits depending on manufacturer, model, year etc. So how could Racetech’s light be plug-n-play on all bikes… Couldn’t find any other info about this headlight except for this video, so thank you for figuring out the wires and making this thorough presentation of the Racetech full LED head light!

Hi mate. Not sure if this will reach you. But my crewman sounds like it’s doing the same thing. It will randomly say low fuel contact dealership. Saying this for days or weeks on end. Then all of a sudden one day it will be fine and show the correct fuel level at half or full etc. and turn over and go fine.

is the problem with the trim?

Great sound track. I’m going to use this as a guide when I change the whole tank and the pump. Do you still have the Cross8? I am overhauling one to like new. Most that have had a Cross6, 8, Adventra have wished they never let go of them.

Amazing how different US, UK & AU XR400R’s come from the factory. Mine being US is off-road only simple wiring compared to yours. Great video though...helped me identify an aftermarket headlight wiring...

Disconnect the Lamba from the other end, it’s just a single clip, use a flat blade... no need to muck about getting the wire twisted right...

Did it come with straps to strap it on forks?

A good tutorial on installation. I like that this exhaust mellows out the sound a bit. I'm definitely considering this system for my 900 GT, but strangely, Yamaha does not offer this exhaust in North America through their accessory catalog though it does in Australia and Europe. I can still purchase one through other means.

I put one of these on my mt07 ,,sounds best in 3,4,5,,IMO getting ready to trade in for 900gt ,, I hope i dont lose that low end torque where that makes wheelies so easier

Did you convert your XR400 to street legal, or was it built that way by Honda? I’m curious about your speedometer and gauge set, it looks like the 250L setup. I’m considering trying to adapt that setup to my XR400, and wondering how practical that idea is. Any information is appreciated!

Make dc connection for leds or else leds could burn...or use voltage regulator to convert ac to 12v dc....

I'm having problems with filling my fuel tank, I can only fill it very slowly,and it takes 3 times slower to fill if I try to fill normally it stops the pumping,I've tried putting air down both the filling tank hose and breather hose and I can feel air coming back, I'm thinking maybe the filling hose has got foreign object or something is partially blocking the flow of the fuel to flow in at the normal rate , can anyone help or have a solution... Thanks wayne....

thanks for vid - unreal! someone told me that there's bolts going into the back of the cab too? incorrect?1) also, I was a bit confused when you were re-aligning tub at the end - checking your markings on the chassis. does this meanthat there is movement around the bolts that allow this? I would have thought that since there are 8 bolts that there would be no movement for adjustment.2) is the pump, the filter and the send all in ONE unit?
