Fully automatic Scar-L/Scar-16 range test
Garbage rifle. Even the a2 witch was remade by germany due to how shitty the a1 was 😂
Oh god not the SU shite 😂😂
Dude it didn’t run pretty good it ran flawlessly 😂😂😂 that’s a good sign at least
Did you finished the restauration of your van? I just bought one, spotsman dodge 1979 Transvan for 800$ canadien. It's in very bad condition, but motor is good and the outside is good. Everything is stripped inside, ill turn it into a vanlife. Post a follow up video on the Van.
@@SimonGalarneau I wish I had, I was in the process of stripping the interior for a full rebuild when life got wild with a divorce/move and had to sell it, regret it everyday, a very unique build!
Did you deal with any warp? I’ve been printing with nylon and it seems like it’s unavoidable to an extent no matter what you do to combat it. You can only minimize it, not eliminate it it seems. I have a roll of nylonX sitting around and I’m excited to use it and compare it to polymaker pa6-CF
Charlie Bucket.
@@bibitsang 😂😂
Are you using the wrong gun?
@@sunsun7673 what you mean?
@@DocRed39 I was surprised at how well it was running, hard to believe it was an L85.
how was it to remove all the support?
Support setrings ?
rails up is better imo
Your gonna have a horrible time hollowing out the internal support. Rails up...trust me
I had no issue at all, trust me
@@DocRed39 rails up you pull off bed and start putting parts in. I'm sure you were pulling off supports and cleaning up for at least an hour. Do what works for you, just trying to save you time and aggravation thats all.
@@Cereal_Killr nope, it only took a few minutes, you just print different than I do
They are known for being the lowest recoil. I just got one that is basically new. Pricey, over 1k but under the price of a benelli m4 and beretta 1301.
After 18 years service was never able to do that lol
How could they issue such a horrible firearm as a main rifle to a world class military in modern times? Has this rifle ever gotten anyone killed in iraq/afghanistan?
I used A1's and A2's extensively and never had any issues with either and the Lsw no jams nothing found them to be pretty reliable tbfair but maybe I was lucky lol
In the army, I used the SA80 platform from L85 and L86 all the way to L85A3, and I can say unlike many others, I loved it. It was a total bag of absolute ass before the A2 modifications, but A2 and A3 were a totally different animal; more reliable than the M4, higher velocity than the G36 and near match accurate. It's amazing how well sorted it is, even if it is not long from retirement as a platform, If you ever get a chance (although the chances are fairly remote with how little of them are around), the L22 carbine is glorious, probably the loudest and most fun firearm I've ever shot, and I've shot a 5 inch AR 🤣
Always wanted a run on the l22 after seeing British MP's with them!
@@DocRed39 Absolutely, I spent the last 2 years of my service as hele crew, and our issued weapons were the L22 and Browning/Glock sidearm. Range day was always fun! The muzzle flash was immense but if you fired the carbine with tracers (as we often did), it felt one step away from a flame induced sunburn. Memories eh.
if you are printing a glock try doing a angled orientation will make your print more structurally sound
I just started a g26.2 v1.17 2 hours ago 10 percent angle barrel angled up looks good so far
Alguma sugestão ?
Rails up, 9ish degree tilt back...butter
Looks shit. 😂
when it comes to AR’s the L85 is my favorite
Did you print it on a raft?
12hrs later.....
Do you need an enclosure for carbon fiber nylon?
yes
You don’t need one technically but it’s definitely better to have one
I love the L85, idc what anybody says.
Same! It's a very interesting rifle and a joy to shoot recreationally atleast!
print setting ?
I have one of these and i has no clue it Shot this fast!
It's slightly modified, few links off the recoil spring and the gas port had been opened up slightly
Should've made a video on how you did that @@DocRed39
@@nowgo_ I wish I had!
I’m looking into printing my own custom airsoft What type of filament are you using specifically, pla, pets, asa? Also what’s the durability for you so far?
cf nylon
Is try out just about pla+ will work for you! This was cf nylon but wasn't worth the tradeoffs
@@DocRed39 id do nylon for lowers, thats it, pla+ is fine for low pressure rounds
If this is an A1 you better have bought a lottery ticket immediately afterwards. If it was an A2 then it's actually a pretty solid rifle from all accounts.
People think the A1s struggled for all of its usage but later on a lot of the kink were ironed out, it was only when in the sandy environments did it really perform poorly.
I got a roll of PA-CF filament with my printer but I have no idea what to use it for. Do you have any videos about it's uses and what it's ideal for
I can’t tell, what rounds you’re shooting either way they’ve got to be low recoil because the way you handled all that recoil👌🏼👍🏼
Low recoil 00 buck if I'm not mistaken, it's been awhile since!
I've printed rails down and didn't like the results from support removal inside! Been printing with Barrel to the sky with great results!! Carbon fiber nylon is a great filament. Going to try GF Nylon next, more impact resistance!! 2A for all!!!!
I agree! Definitely not ideal and resulted in a bit of clean up needed for the parts to fit and even then not the best fit at that point 😢
@Franc Pierre also printing at 45° works too!
Lots of clean up, But on an E-3, it saved about 8 hrs😉.. G/f and now Zytel Fdm filament!. Rad🤙🏻
Yeah rails down leaves a lot of the inside looking pretty bad. That's how I was making them, but hated it. Lately though I've been printing them at 45° and it's night and day.
@@xsixinfantryx what’s ur go to use filament ? Im kinda stuck I read good and bad things about every filament
That’s powerful !
That’s awesome! Where did you find your model?
Damn Daniel.
I was fully expecting him to fire in semi-auto and clear a jam every other round
Forward assist
Nope and it's not necessary to do so in a range environment. Military training isn't always correct lol
@@DocRed39 it is always necessary to do forward assist in every environment with this rifle.
@@Bobbybulsara179 no it's not, just a useful military drill
@@DocRed39 he’s right, you should do it either way to prevent jams, either way, it’s up to you.
what slicer settings did you use?
whats your instagram
Can I get slicer settings too ? I’m fairly new to all of this.
@@GivenQuote yes do you have messenger or sum i’ll explain everything too you

why did you weld a another charging handle on the left side?
It came that way lol
@@DocRed39 weird, cool gun tho
I thought they was supposed to be crap? Didnt look it, or sound it...
Current L85s aren't.
Worst Weapon Ever To Serve In The British Army. A complete load of crap
How did you get an L85 they can’t be sold to civvies
must of cut the bit where it jammed
It didn't. Current L85s don't jam.
@@stevetheduck1425 oh really
PSA needs to make a clone of this already… might as well make new AR-18s too since this is basically the exact same gun 😅
Pretty spooky, though really sick spot. Hope you doing well boss <3
I miss you 🥺
Update ????
How hot is the bed
Nice. I'm barely getting into cf nylon myself. Only issue I seem to have is some stringing/blobs, but other than that the surface is nice. I don't think it's wet filament since I've dried it and print it straight from the dry box. I don't use an enclosure since I have my printer in a no-draft room. It's a pretty warm room where the printer is at... What setting would I need to prevent the the stringing/blobs?
do you have a direct drive or Bowden setup? a direct drive will reduce stringing by controlling the filament more correctly. in a Bowden setup there's pressure on the filament after the extruder stops so it will keep stringing out. you can mitigate with settings to run the machine faster but the true fix is a direct drive setup.
Reduce retraction distance. Filled nylons require much less retraction than PLA. It’s not as “gooey”
Did you upgrade your nozzle or it’s stock ?
Hardened steel nozzle on a micro Swiss block
Yes microswiss!! Hardened steel! Updated Firmware, Ender 5 Plus.
You have to use a steel nozzle with CF nylon
Do you print for others ?
Only remotely from prison
