ummmm no. i went to fsu, and i went to see football. the chiefs were good, but not the reason people went. now the marching 100, that's a different story.

I was at this game and was in total WOW when I experienced this performance. The half-time show alone was worth the tickets price. I considered it a bargain to watch such a great performance

@321dwood We do. It's called Chief Step and it's a pain. 90 degree snap with toe pointed to ground. Mostly done only in the pre-game show.

I'm only in HighSchool but our marching band is doing a Michael JAckson tribute show and we do thriller, billie jean, and beat it and we do the beat it dance and we don't get nearly as great as a reaction when we dance ;( lol but AWESOME

this show was so much fun to be in! And I still remember all of the dance moves =p mcatdt <3

@CallsignWhat Chiefs are not specifically a corps style band, all of the pre-game show is high-step. Many half time shows are high step, mostly depends on the music and the show. They also often glide step

@jj8117 i watched florida's version on youtube and i don't think any band can go wrong with a michael jackson show. florida had a good routine but it was too long and the band seemed too stiff. i think it was more of the "awe" factor that made the chiefs show better. it was much more impressive watching 460 band members spread over the entire football field, dancing in unison.

I was at the florida gator vs georgia bulldogs game, and the pride of the sunshine did this a million times better

This is when I wish I was an epic trumpet player!!!!! I have lots of work to do before I can get here. 2 years at Webber to get beastly and then will look to transfer to FSU. Go Noles! Football is just the extra, Marching Chiefs are the reason people buy a ticket!!!!

@kavonc987 100 is another great band but not even close to touching the Chiefs. Chiefs have some of the best talent in the country and it really shows in this video.

Gotta love Chiefs. Even when we had losing seasons, I liked to come back that our marching band could beat our opponents marching band. =) Love going to a great music school haha

Only in the US ! Over here in the UK we're boring we never have marching bands all except for the military one & they perform on armistice day and the changing of the guard although they hold concerts it costs us lots of money!

Just can't get enough of this video. Congrats to the Chiefs on a fabulous show. I watched "jxRWZLKGe70" and while that show was great also and the drill sharp, musically the Marching Chiefs just blow you away. The drill was nice, too, but the music.........thrilling at all the right moments and beautiful. And the "dance" wasn't bad either LOL. I think "Michael" would have loved your show.
