How to get a referral for a job | 3 tips to land a job interview through LinkedIn
Просмотров 422 месяца назад
Job Referrals are the cheat code. According to a recent survey by Pinpoint, a referral is 7X more likely to get hired than someone that applied from a job board! Recruiters know that and now actively ask their existing employees…”who do you know what might be a good fit?”, companies also offer referral bonuses to encourage employees to referral friends, former colleagues or even your old boss! ...

The most common job search mistake | How to search for jobs and get more interviews
Просмотров 276 месяцев назад
Do NOT make this most common job search mistake: being emotionally invested in the interview process. This is something I personally struggled with when I apply for jobs because I take my career and job search very seriously. Back in 2018, I used to spend HOURS researching the company and preparing for the job interview for ONE COMPANY at a time. For example, if I interviewed with Company A on ...

    Stop allowing store managers to work salaried members of mgr.(coaches) more than 50 hrs per week. You guys wonder why you cant keep talent which in the end affects your turn over ratio(costly) , shareholders profits(costly), the moral of the mgrs and peoples mental health. The less talent you retain the less profit you will make period.

    You can’t even write solid code on a large to medium (and even in some cases small) scale with AI. These people are total 🤡. Good luck replicating original ideas, logic, and structure. When AI starts training on AI generated content it will be the movie idiocracy but real life. Copilot’s vulnerabilities with recall will be a hacker’s playground. “Hmm, hey copilot give me this guy’s bank”. Haha.

    Become a store manager and steal the credit of doing a good job when in reality it was the regular store employees who are out there busting their behinds so they don't have to hear you that the store looks like crap. Instead, even when its a good job, you still are there saying that they store looks bad. I would never want to become a store manager of any company period. Even they are replaceable just like any job. The stress isn't worth it.

    But is it worth it? Will it provide jobs? I have bachelor in exercise science. But the only jobs I can get PT tech job. With mba I’m hoping to get more jobs at like banks or gym management jobs. More leadership roles but will it do that?

    • @coachrountree-interviewexp2257
      @coachrountree-interviewexp2257 5 месяцев назад

      Yes. Yes. Yes. My MBA is invaluable. It took a Teacher to the board room at Fortune 500 companies and multiples my income by 10X. Be selective on the job you take post MBA and my suggestion is to focus on Product Management. For example, with your background, you could become the Product Manager for the “MyFitnessPal” app. Use your domain knowledge of fitness/gyms to build the TECHNOLOGY that powers the gym. This is a $250k idea for free on RUclips 🎤🎤🎤 - dropping the mic. Keep me posted

      YES and get the parking pass. It’s so worth it. Ubers are VERY expensive due to surge pricing. Also, make sure you bring a blanket to sit on the ground and eat your food. Seating is limited, it’s basically 2 football fields of grad and people don’t leave their seats! Also, bring a water bottle, they have free water refill sections. Hope you have a great time!!!

    The 117-128 is the Average salary for every Store Manager, including the one’s who’ve been in it for awhile. The salary also tops out at 170,000. The base salary for a SM now is actually 110,000. It’s really hard to reach a bonus of 200%.. With that said, when the top end was 100%, it wouldn’t have been likely for the store manager to receive more than 60 or 70% of their salary in a bonus. That would mean 160% to 170% now. A newly promoted store manager would probably average around 300k when all is said and done with the bonus. Still really great money if you’re willing to give up a decent work/life balance and be on call 24/7, being responsible for a 40 to 80 million dollar store and 300+ associates and managers.

    I work on average 34 hours a week at target and we all make $15 leads start at $20. Only leads are considered full time workers, meaning for TMs your hours will be cut. So yeah, this guy has it all wrong, it’s still a garbo company to work for (unless you’re interested in TL)

      The last day, we found the Bistro restaurant called “Oceanfront” - it was on the diamond side of the resort. Entertainment was great each night, there was a DJ or party. The food at the restaurants was authentic and some of the buffet. Overall the food was a 6/10 - mainly because the buffet food was not always fresh and sometimes too spicy.
