@@DJTravels My mom been on Seven Seas Explorer twice for Alaska cruise. Id like to try them but don't know if I can (Convicted Felon) Ritz Carlton on the other hand i nearly fell out my chair when i saw the price.

Our first Regent cruise was on the Seven Seas Mariner to Alaska back in 2008. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Next year, we plan to drive the new RV up to Alaska.

Definitely a hard pill to swallow, but we don’t regret it so far! Definitely much better made than our last rig and truck combo. We had problems with those from the start. Just competed a 4600 mile shakedown trip, and the worst problem is one drawer that doesn’t stay closed while driving. Probably needs an adjustment to the soft close mechanism.

yeah it does suck for the people that ordered one and waited. Only for a market adjustment to raise the price many thousands of dollars. Not knocking this buyer though.

@@DJTravels caught that on the Pere Marquette river in big Michigan. Cool river that flows into Michigan. First brown trout hatchery in the US. Old stone is on the TN/ GA border. It's sweet and our go to when traveling north/ south

State park campground ( might be Indian Tribe owned and managed) is on the shore of lake Superior in Munising. Sites situated on the beach

Long drives were a lot easier than pulling a fifth wheel (5 years ago). First three days were very long, and I did not feel beat up. Managing through city streets and even parking was no problem. At least where we visited on this trip. The van does not fit in a standard parking space, but if you back in to a spot that overhangs a grassy area, then you can make it fit. I made it a point to take videos and pictures of where we parked, and I will show that in future videos.

@@DJTravels Thank you. That's how I feel. We've been towing a 30' Artic Fox TT for almost ten years. It's a lot of work to set up and break camp. Towing over 300 miles a day is getting to be too much now. Wears me down.

Yes! When we had the 5th wheel, setting up and breaking camp was not bad, but enough to make you want to stay extra nights to avoid doing it too much (sometimes a good thing). With this, most nights I would plug in the electric, turn on the propane, and be done with it. We can go 3 days on the fresh water, and a good 5 or 6 on the grey and black tanks. Could go longer on the fresh if we didn't forget to bring the 2 collapsible 5 gallon storage containers we bought! In later videos, we stay at several no hook-up Harvest Hosts, and this rig worked very well. I would still keep it under 250 miles/day or 4 hours if I were doing consecutive travel days. But a 6 - 8 hour drive followed by 2 - 3 days in the same spot is definitely doable.

On Regent, the specialty restaurants are included in your cruise fare. But, you do have to make reservations. You can make them 120 days in advance, and only one visit to each venue. If available, you can make more while onboard,

Murphy bed is for us. Takes about 3 minutes to put down or up. Thought it would be a pain in the butt, but it is very easy. We will be putting out a tour in a few weeks.
