Ok, been thinking about what you might do for next year. Sorta broad concepts, put a DIY ground fogger off to one side, put it in a box that resembles an open pirate chest, run the ground fog through large black flexible drain tubing from the chest around the front and to the fence other side essentially like what you did with the blue tarp. Position Blue LED flood lights either around inside perimeter of the drain tubing to internally light the ground fog or place them on tall 4’ plus ground stakes shining down light it from the top. There are led motion lights that produce moving patterns, such as swirls, which when shown down on top of the ground fog may translate a sense of movement. Use “barn doors” to keep blue “water light” from shining on the Pirate ship. You could fashion a short bottom in the “pirate chest and “fill” it pirate treasure. Spray paint stuff gold and put in the shallow top tray of the box to give it the illusion of filled chest. Down light the gold contents contents with an amber/yellow led flood light. Hope you find some of this useful. Looking forward to seeing next years display. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice pirate boat! Why did you have the vinyl meet at the bow? I like your solution for hiding the seams between the two pieces, but would it have been easier to stretch one piece over the bow and cut the other one to fit the remaining distance?

Regarding Mike's nunchucks, the fabric cords were only on the original SDCC 4 pack but all following releases had the wires. Those will continue to come off though because most of the glue adheres to the black coating on the wire which is soft and will flex and stretch and eventually tear and come out again. I replaced mine with some cord used for making beaded necklace crafts. As far as the availability of these 2 packs, while some states and areas saw an abundance of these figures it seems that the majority of Indiana was almost completely ignored by NECA's distributors, and all calls and pleas to NECA to help rectify the distribution deficit to our state also went equally ignored.
