Wtf?! Nobody does that shit and never had high pressure issues
I appreciate it brother foreal! God bless you from Houston Texas 🙏🏾✊🏽
Thanks you for the video I was doing PM for similar unit and I found this video for put my unit en heat mode and you video help me a lot.
Nothing to fear - just a black widow wanting to keep you company! 😂
Rookie.
Don't you usually check the pressures, and then insufficient air flow will cause icing.
What would happen if a filter dryer was installed backwards?
Funny joke funny guy! Give the kid some credit, he actually spent the time to make a RUclips channel and post helpful tips content bud 👍
Good job
Bigfoot Like.
So what happens when it’s raining? 🤣
Thanks compadre
Great video helped me complete my job today.
I have the same problem with a unit. Do you know what was the problem?
I had shorted condenser fan motors
Does that spider have talons? That was so creepy, back left leg, clawrs? What's up with that!!
Imagine the spider! He went home shook n told his friends he was singled out by a mosterous bigfoot! How ever scared dude is spider scared that much times 10!
Haha! Nice... I live in Vegas, they're quite common here in pump rooms and backflow preventer cover boxes. They're actually quite docile. I came into one of my fire pump rooms one day and there were hundreds of babies hanging from tiny webs all over the damn room, they were on my face, I was terrified when I figured out exactly what was tickling my face and hair. 😱 Gotta watch your hands and face when reaching under things and into the spaces out here. Nice find!
@@S.P.B.222 ok yeah that fr sure sounds terrifying! It eminds me of the shape of either a golden orbweaver or garden spiders which are also very calm. They build their webs n chill in the sun during the summer. Very beautiful as far far as spiders go.
I mean this with all honesty because I hate to say it but that's a female, and I know this because only females have the bright red hour glass. I'd say get rid of it before it gets insanely infested
Nice work!
How do the pressures look though when the filter dryer is restricted 🚫
If you just turn unit test and not shift u can check each component individually staring with blower motor wish will show 0 on the display went turn over to unit test only
stage 2 cfms dont run off this?
Thanks for your video and I may add this. Always cut those fittings out at the Air handler and sweat the pipes together. Pressurize your system to 250 psi and if you have a leak, it should only be at the service valves (if you did a good job sweating the pipes together) then vacuum the system with no worries about having to return for leaks!!! 🎉
How does that even happen
Holy fuck😂😂😂😂
I subscribed, man. Like the visual troubleshooting!
Nice but ill do have a question Don't see end cap on the pipe?
Bad winding? No continuity between motor leads?4-7 5-8 6-9
Good job
She is a oldie but a goodie
🎵 Gangstas make the world go round……. 🎵 👍🏽
Grave it closer to flame 🤦🏽
What tip to unsweat and braze? What were acetylene/ oxygen pressures
Okay you told us how to check a lockout but how do you fix it!?!?!?!
Nope that’s the SUPPLY……Below the blower assembly. Let’s get it straight before we attempt to train others
👍🏻
Great video. Wish I had this when I started in the trade. would of made life easier😢😂
I didn’t see the meter 🤔
Good stuff! You forgot to plug to relay back in, I wish I was that smart... I forgot to plug the cap back in one time. 😮 a lot more exciting than the relay fam. Ty for the content
The only thing i would have done different is wash the coils and check pressures. I’m not sure what kind of metering device those coils use, but if it’s a txv sometimes those txvs get stuck and lower or increase head pressure in hotter days. Very possible that a pressure switch opened during operation and if they are auto resets, keeping the unit off would make it look like nothing was wrong. During the visit
Did heating PMs on a bunch of lennox RTUs this week. Nice job on the video
Good video....wish you would have trouble shoot the main issues as well
Great video A+++
Should have used a bigger tourch tip
Good job solving it! When i run into low voltage shorts the first thing i do is disconnect the thermostat wires from the board/terminal block. This gives you complete control over the unit, taking the thermostat out of the equation. Then i would individually jump each thermostat connection to see which operation cause the breaker to trip. This way you narrow it down and know where to start searching for faulty components/bad insulation etc.
That’s an awesome method! Thanks for sharing!
My only 2 cents is confirm no power to the unit before working on it! I’ve seen faulty disconnects that appear off and aren’t. Especially when leaning into the blower cabinet. Stay safe
Great troubleshooting very informative thanks for the video
Well done! I’m not an HVAC, just someone who’s interested in the topic. One question: did you check the disconnect switch to make sure it wasn’t faulty and confirm the power was really off?
Yes! I just don’t always get that part in the video, thank you for the support!
This is painful. Remember where the wires go. Other than than, the is a schematic. The schematic tells you where every wire goes. There is also a plug in the pecker head that needs to be checked. That plug changes the internal wiring for the voltage to the motor.
also camera is so close you can not see anything. hurts my brain.
Is the guy using the torch an apprentice? Sure looked like it. It should never take that long to unsweat and braze in the new compressor. Either turn the flame up or use a rosebud tip. Always flow nitrogen when brazing or unbrazing. Don’t know what the people below are talking about but I’ve done experiments with brazing with or without nitrogen and every joint that I flowed nitrogen on, when I split the pipe open with tin snips it was perfectly clean on the inside, no oxides no scale. The ones I brazed without were full of flakes and scale that can plug up metering devices, check valves and any small orifices in the system. It doesn’t always happen but why not use best practices to ensure that it doesn’t ever happen. Western Enterprises makes a regulator with a braze, purge, and test setting all you have to do is change the dial to the setting you need and go to work. It’s the regulator I use and I’ve had it for years with no issues. It’s the Western Enterprises VN-500.
Not trying to sound critical but if people are going to film their work and post it for thousands to see, they should definitely be using proper practices.
Awesome! I will look into that!
How many tons this unit ?
nitrogen is massive also wet rag or heat block went installing driers
Agreed!
