*anything happens on screen "vweee-oowoo-wub-wub-zeeow-wwww!"
We watched this movie a million times as kids on our betamax! It blew our minds and it was one of the reasons I came to love paleontology & archeology
I asked my parents to take me to see this movie right after church services (early 1980's) and they agreed not knowing what the movie was about. Needless to say they were horrified with the caveman gore and sex and decided to leave right in the middle of the movie. Luckily I watched the who film again many years later. My parents weren't around for the next viewing!
Our roots🖤🖤🖤🐺🐺
Brilliant idiots
They are all acting like savages, except for the Cro-Magnon.

Are Europeans a Neanderthal - homo sapien hybrid
what a movie.. real masterpiece
Stupid. Evolution is a lie by Jews to keep people from God. Period. Carbon dating is a lie. Everything we believe is a lie. How many great resets have there been to keep people stupid?
"SASQUATCH SUNSET" promo article comment section brought me here. 12 Apr 2024
The music used in this trailer makes it sound like its a Michael Mann movie lol so inappropriate and nothing like whats in the film.
Would it have been better with Ron Jeremy instead of Ron Perlman?
Are you ready for Britney and Yiannis?
It's a LOT closer than you think...and none of you can even adjust a set of points ignition, if your life depended on it...could you?
Shockingly good movie
This Film utterly blew me away watching it as a 10 year old !
mentioned this film today , relating it to another great one, Cast Away with Tom Hanks, in the role of Chuck Noland, a FedEx employee, gone missed after an airplane crash in a unknown distant island in south pacific. I saw Quest For Fire in 1986 for the frist time.
I’m watching it on streaming TV, but the quality is extremely bad. Never seen it before.I think they took an old print that was unrestored. It even has that little bubble in the screen they have in theaters indicating the reel is about to change. The setting is pretty peculiar landscape-wise. In the beginning, they’re in an environment that looks like taiga of northern Canada or northern Russia attacked by apemen, then they travel to what looks like Eastern Africa attacked by saber-toothed lions, probably Kenya. After that, looks like the highlands of Scotland and harassed by mammoths.
Who is the voiceover?
Neanderthals 😮
I saw this movie when i was wayyyy too young and always thought it was some manic feverdream until I stumbled upon a mention of this movie some years ago, I still have to watch it again but man brings back memories I didn’t know where memories.
I was inspired by this movie to cannibalize my friends.
I only remember the bj.
I have never heard of or seen this movie in my life (1983). Picked it up at a book sale.
Comprendre... Ahahahaha!
Malachi 1:2-3 - I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, [3]And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Blah blah blah
Job 30:5-8 They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;) [6] To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks. [7]Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together. [8]They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
The futuristic synths work really well instead of cliche 'ancient drums' for this kind of story.
Have you seen it? There's also lots of hand drums, pan flutes, and full LS Orchestra. It all works.
@@GCKelloch I wrote the comment just before watching it (the trailer made me want to see it), overall I thought the film had less synth than this trailer suggested. But still a good film.
aq yamyamları.... götü başı açık gezmeler falan
horrible trailer -- great movie
When i watched this movie in. 1981 i didn't understand it. Now i still remember.
TELL EM STEVE DAVE!!!
I remember watching this in the theatre back in 1982. We still 'quote' lines from it. Yes, I'm old.
Wait. Quote lines from it?
Me too, not ashamed to confess it I watched it in 1986 in a cinema in Paris.
@@maninthecamohat2735Lol AH TA!!!

Starring Ron Perlman as himself.
Well made movie
fantastico film la guerra del fuego para latinoamerica
This movie was behind its time.
I was 10 when this came out and I watched the commercial on tv for weeks, and begged my parents to let me see it. Rae Dawn Chong was the 1st woman I saw nude because of this movie. I went to see it at least 10 more times
I wonder if Jacques Malaterre’s films (especially the “L’odyssée de l’espèce” trilogy) were inspired by this, because the depictions of the different humans here look very similar to how they look in his films.
This picture was filmed in environmental protected locations in three countries: Canada, Kenya and Scotland.
Rae Dawn Chong was cast as Ika largely because she was completely comfortable with being nude. Between scenes, she remained nude on the set most of the time, in full body makeup, to stay in character.
