I hope you see this!!’ I followed what you did in the video, I’m on the part where you push and hold the cutting blade down but when I push the top blade down there is a space where it’s not against each other. My foam piece came out but I put it back in. Idk if that has something to do with it or not. If u have any suggestions on help please let me know I’ve been trying to fix it for about an hour now and can’t get it.
@@quintonpreston3749 ofcourse i read every comment, honestly the foam its nothing really big to be concerned about its just to protect the motor from oil and hair , but just make sure you clean it after every use and dont put too much oil just a 3 drops on the left right and middle

@@kishancod6 ofcourse 💯… actually yea the prongs arent pressed in all the way, make sure there in snug… im 99.9 percent sure its that, and make sure the screws are tightened enough to where u dont strip or damage it
this is such a bad design, it should be designed to be cleaned easily without taking it apart. they fixed the issue in the fx one, but this one is flawed for sure.

Do you think putting senior cutting blade on the magic clip would be better ? I have mine sitting here as I’ve put the ceramic blade on the senior so I thought I’d maybe put the senior cutting blade on the magic clip, do you think it’ll be a big difference ?

After replacing my blade on my Magic Clips, I notice a space of about 1/3 of an inch between the blade and where the black piece says KEEP BLADES OILED. The blade doesn’t quite touch and I put the replacement blade on in the same order you put yours on. Is that 1/3 inch spacing normal? Or what do you think could be issue if it’s not? They still cut good but I was just wondering.
I replaced the wahl original blade with the 2191 Precision Fade blade in case you were wondering the blade.
@@rafaeljohnson7316 if it doesn’t sound different or the performance dosnt change it’s nothing really to be concerned about , usually new blades come in different sizes , just gotta clean it more so hair and oil dont damage the inside

The ion clipper blades are amazing too! It’s a “stretch” blade so it goes from no guard open to #1 closed without a half guard… I’m throwing them on all my Wahls!

@8THRU5Official Hey bro these clippers have gotten my attention. I'm hella debating if I should drive over to sallys rn and pick a pair up. Would you say other blades fit the bracket? Is the cam follower compatible with thr babyliss or JRL cam follower? I just want to know if some of the parts are compatible with other clippers in case I need to replace parts later on. I'm also curious if this clipper has internally thr same motor or similar battery as the Babyliss FXs... it'd be fire 🔥 🔥 if it was compatible with the Tomb 45 upgrades
@@8THRU5Officiallooking at the trimmer it has the same cam follower as the JRL trimmer too 🤔 who tf owns ion? I know a lot of Conair products are similar to some babyliss since conair is babyliss but it's crazy how ION has this trimmer and clipper with babyliss and jrl influences.. 🤔
@@gusb4309I believe ion is a Sally brand cuz I’ve also seen it at cosmoprof..I put Andis t outliner blades on mine, but I threw the ion clipper blade on my 2 sets of Seniors and they’re amazing!
What happens if you take the safety cushion out? Cause I cleaned out mine but every time I try to turn it on, it will stay on for a few seconds and the clippers would stop working. I’m thinking my clippers stop working because of the safety cushion ?
Nothing really but in time the oil and hair will damage the motor… but as long as you clean it should be fine

Use a screw driver that fits snugg becareful by not stripping the screw happens alot because of the oil thats in there… try to blow it with a air can or even clean it with a qtip with alcohol

I wouldn’t say fakes there are earlier versions of these clippers there not the boosts babylyss pro I beleive… the motor isint as strong as these but there still dope … dont get bummed out great purchase

Consider lubricating the internals too..
At that point might aswell buy a new clipper.. alot of the times when the oil gets in there its over.. it either shorts out or the damage its there starts to smell even when its cleaned well

It can be something minor make sure the prongs are in the holes and pressed in try that.. take it all apart and try it again

Just bought a pair of Babyliss Pro. How often does this process need to happen? Manual says after every use, but this seems extreme. What needs to be done after every use, and what needs to be done less regularly for maintenance? Thanks.
I do it every 2-3 months.. oil hair gets stuck in there.. how do you like them?

Man this video saved my life. I had started shaving my head but decided to unmount the trimmer because it had a lot of hair stuck inside from several ages. I could not mount it back but this video showed it how those two wires are supposed to work with the lower blade and such. Took me less than a min to mount it back. Thanks a ton.
