      @AbuelaBenitez If you have a car, drive inland and visit Casibari Cafe and Grill. There's a huge rock there that you can climb (there's a path and stairs, not rock climbing) for an incredible sunset view.

      On our last trip, we didn't rent a car, so any pricing information I have would be old. But, you can check out rental pricing here: bit.ly/3Qf4wuF We rented a crossover SUV because we knew we were going off road along the beach, but if you're planning to stay on the road, any kind of economy car would work.

    I would love to go for a longer period of time, maybe stay at some sort of hostel, or bedroom for rent by a local? Do you have any suggestions for me to look? I imagine the cheapest overnight accommodation would probably be at least $50/night? Even if it's in the capital city, and maybe just take the bus to the beach, or even a day pass should I want to explore that day. Is there a bus that circulates around the entire island in case someone wants to see another area of the island for a few hours? If not, a taxi for sure would be an option. I live in Toronto, Canada, would prefer to go to Aruba during our winter to escape the cold, and regain back Vitamin D 🙂 I imagine accommodations would be more expensive than say, their off-season. I'm sure it's wonderful all year 'round, but who wants to leave their summer to go somewhere even hotter lol That is wonderful news about the local water, will save alot of money getting it for free! If/when I do go down, I won't be drinking beer and eating crazy, as it is expensive. In fact, I think I will do alot of fasting, eat lightly, mostly drink water except for a beer in the later afternoon after being on the beach. I would love to spend a month down there on a cheap budget.

      Thank you for reaching out! I have not had the opportunity to stay in Aruba for more than a week at a time. We were at the Hilton Aruba on each trip because we love it so much. If you're interested, you can check their hotel out here: bit.ly/3xURv2M At the very least, it'll give you a comparison rate for renting a house or apartment. One of the things I would highly recommend doing is the Jeep tour: www.viator.com/tours/Aruba/Aruba-Off-Road-Island-Tour-Including-Natural-Pool-and-Baby-Beach/d28-6841ISLAND This is a lot of fun and you get to see quite a bit of the island that way. If you'd rather have a smoother, non-off road tour, the bus tour of the island is also a lot of fun: www.viator.com/tours/Oranjestad/Colorful-Beach-Bus-Sightseeing-Tour-of-Aruba/d50211-47774P1 Hope that helps!

  • @shaquitaware6563

    Hello do you recommend renting a car to see more of the island or will a taxi be cheaper?

    • @callmejjblog
      @callmejjblog Месяц назад

      This would be a hard question to answer because I think it depends on how far you want to go and how much you want to see. We rented a car and spent one full day driving around and really enjoyed it. One advantage of renting a car is that you get to drive along the shoreline. There's a section of the island where the waves are so fierce that it's pretty much uninhabited, but it's gorgeous and there are some historic monuments there.
