Irrer Sound.
There pretty rare here in Australia too,I'd love one,it would look great beside my dad's 51 T bird
When I was 17 (1966) I had a sarolea 600cc, a splendor of motorcycle!
What do you get parts of a motorcycle
Someone knows where could I find a handlebar for this bike? Does the 3ta nacelle handlebar works on it? Thank you.
Wonderful superb great greatest old bike triamph 350 3t twin slender
Tuve la suerte de haber tenido una en los años de mi juventud y guardo muchas anegdotas de ella.
Not a '48. Later model with nacelle headlight. But nice!
Is it a 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine?
cool bike
would have been nice if you talked about the bike more, told us some history and such
What is that the small thing that goes up and down on gearbox?
It could be a Neutral Finder. Some Enfields had this.
Its on the Crankcase, and it looks like a mechanical Oil Pressure Indicator. Not such a bad idea at all.
Never heard of the brand before. Thank you for the video. Incidentally, thumpers just don't have to be that hard to start; it seems we've forgotten how to kickstart anything.
my dad has a also a 300 very rare we build it up totally new because it was a barn find. much love from germany awsome machine but alot of heat problems and oil problems so we fittet underneath a bigger oil tub
please reply
mielage of this triumph 3t 195o..
Your kick starting reminds my past with Enfield 350.
lol..... 1:58 secs. Very sexual indeed! Giggity Giggity Gig-git-ty! :D Beautiful machine by the way :)
We used to run them things no muffler and as fast as they would go. Hill climbing was good on a big single.
That's how a single should sound, like a 25-pounder gun! Beautiful restoration. Happy riding, and keep the videos coming please!
what's the fun in a bike being a piece of art there machines designed to be rode hard and commute in all weathers that's a motorcycle this may as well be a sculpture and if you want art visit a Ducati dealership or find a Honda nr750
I can't see how you can compare a suzuki dr 800 to this Sarolea, you are talking apples and oranges. This Sarolea is a object of art your suzuki is only something that moves on two wheels, you cant even see the motor it is covered by fairings, no art there!
My dad had one new in the 40's, he also had a Tiger 100 which was 500cc and a 350 single Royal Enfield. I sure would like to take a bike of that vintage around the block especially a model like dad had as I grew up hearing many bike stories, it would have a deep emotional connection for me. I did drive a 1948 Harley 45 meter trike with suicide shift, that was cool! Your bike is awesome.
I had the same bike in the Netherlands but I used it to fit in a 1600 VW engine. It still has the Universal tank , headlight , rear mudgard and the front part of the frame. I still got that bike for more than 40 years. I regret that I used that good bike for fitting in a VW engine although it still runs!
if it is the original the 48 tank was never painted it would of been a 49 and older painted like that.
1939/1940 De Luxe models: Petrol tank panelled in black, lined out in ivory. Frame, forks and mudguards finished in black. Triple ivory line to mudguard centres. Wheel rim centres in black, lined out in ivory. 1945/1946/1947/1948/1949 5T Speed Twin and Tiger 100: as 1938. 3T deluxe: as 1939 deluxe models.
Top! Grüße!!!
