That is a very difficult question to answer without more information. It depends on several variables is the short answer. Is the baby’s head engaged, is just one variable. A trained chiropractor can make the proper decision for the case. The risk by a licensed chiropractor tends to be low in a general sense. I would not recommend trying it at home.

Yes, a 30 week pregnant person can have chiropractic lower back adjustments. They should see a chiropractor who uses Webster’s Technique as well as have an exam (H&P) performed by the chiropractor prior to the adjustment.

Great question. Sadly my advice is to see a professional so they can analyze all of your gait and the causes. There are too many possibilities to miss without an exam.

You are correct. Traditional activator you do have their arms in neutral position to start. I will say, I have been practicing this technique for over 12 years and haven’t ever noticed a difference if you start with arms down or in neutral. I have even ran practices on patient to see if there is a difference and none was found. I usually let them start with their arms down because it is more comfortable for the patient.

Nervoscopes are mostly used in Gonstead or similar style practices. Usually post adjustment I have the patient stand up move around and then check a couple things such as orthopedics, range of motion and so on. Nervoscopes are a nice tool but they predominantly measure heat differences in the body. You can turn the back side of your hand to a bare back and with training and practice notice heat differences as well. You don’t have a fancy tool to show others but once you notice it you could still point it out to most any third party in the room. Great question.
