So happy to have found you on my YT algorithm! I totally agree with the whole "I'm technically grown up" but still growing up. I'm 32, always loved art but never pursued it and shoved it under my bed for 20+ years because I was afraid what other people thought of my art (hence never really practiced to grow my skills) and now after all these years, literally kicking myself everyday because I think about the 20+ years I could have grown my artistic ability. I'm slowly trying now to get back into it as I work on "patience" with myself, I have watched enough videos to know that art/drawing can be learned, it's not a born talent but when I struggle to draw things that I think in my head looks good, and turns out like crap... it makes me so depressed. I really want to get to a point where I can draw things that make me happy for myself, not to try and draw/create things that would "please other people" D:

If you want to get rid of the stains on your Himi palette, you can use a rubber eraser to 'erase' them. Just rub it like how you'd usually use erasers and that should deal with the stains. :)

I ordered a 24 set of the himi miya gouche and I've been looking for youtubers who I find calming and at the same time can help educate me when using gouche ! and honestly I wish there were more youtubers like u <33 ur videos are just rlly calming, and I like how there is speed painting and little bits and pieces of u talking abt random stuff <33 keep on going !!

This was a nice soothing video, thanks! Is the light on your videos window light or do you have another source? It looks so cozy. I feel the only positive thing we can do on those type of days is treat yourself kindly. Or at least not talk to ourselves negatively, but it's hard.
