Cyberpunk made me realize I have no interest in another one of Bethesda's outdated creation engine slop. Hopefully CDPR sticks the landing when they launch Cyberpunk 2

Cyberpunk didn't make me quit Snorefield, Snorefield made me quit it even before playing Cyberpunk. Never touching another Bethesda game again because they've been going downhill for years now and I am certain it will get worse.

Cyberpunk is such a big and lively game, and compared to starfield everyone actually feels human. They have personality, motives, ideals. No characters action felt unjustified. Maybe it didn’t have the best launch, but CD actually listened and fixed the game.

Starfield feels like it was designed from the ground up to be an inoffensive, marketable product rather than a genuine work of art and critique of life like Cyberpunk is, story-wise.

You want a good space game, there’s better games out there… STO, warframe, etc

Taash being a dragon hunter and that aspect of her character not being utilized isn't even the worst part of her character. It is that her character is wrapped up in being a member of a race that is basically defined by their culture, which in turn is based on their code or belief system, the Qun, while also growing up in the Rivani culture and being torn between the two. The player's 'choice' for how to handle Taash has nothing to do with her being 'non-binary,' nor does it have to do with her being a dragon hunter - it's about whether she should live her life as a qunari following the Qun as her mother raised her, or bask in the Rivani culture that she's grown up with while being in contact with the Lords of Fortune. The travesty here is that Taash, if written better, could have been a gateway into both cultures, giving the writers one of the best ways possible to explore and showcase qunari with Taash learning more and more about them, and thereby the player getting that experience, or, having her dive into Rivani culture and giving players their first real look and experience of that culture which has never really been featured in the past three titles except for tidbits in codex entries and the little that Isabella talks about in DA2. But no, the writers wasted this opportunity and went full on 'gender non-binary' with a pouting, irritating lump of a character and force-fed/lectured players. Additionally, another factor that made Taash an irritating character is that she whinges about being non-binary to her mother in the dinner scene, and the mother, after asking for clarification, immediately states that under the Qun, Taash would be '"aqun-athlok," a term for one whose gender does not match the one given to them at birth'. She was accepting her daughter for who she was, under her own understanding of her culture and Taash just blows up in her face anyway. Though this does soften the interaction, somewhat, it is unfortunately yet another 'expansion' of the Qun to make it less rigid and more accepting for the 'modern audience.' The Qun would more than likely not have a term like this as it is a strict and rigid code, things are what they are, people are what they are, etc. A baby born in the Qun, depending on its characteristics into childhood would be assigned a job and thus a name. Men were fighters, farmers, builders, and craftsmen, while women were scholars, priestesses, teachers, and traders. That is what they were and they served their culture, their society, their people under the Qun. (There's a youtube video of Sten (now Arishok) from Origins talking to Taash and he just obliterates her in such a factual way, it's astounding.

2 different games

This is pretty exciting to me. I'm glad they are taking a step back from TLOU for now and working on something new. My only issue with this right now is that the game won't come out until at least 2026. Why even show this to us yet?

Not at all directed to you personally, but I found nothing new or captivating about any element of this trailer. The characters, writing, art direction, setting, story, gameplay.. just.. bland wannabe-edgy DEI grey slop cashing in on 80s member-berries (and shameless brand placement) from where I'm watching.

200+ hours in Cyperpunk, on my 2nd playthrough as a Netrunner, will still go for 100% completion. Experience all the sidequests, gigs, NCPD hustles, and even the masterpiece that is called Phantom Liberty. I'm just currently obsessed with Cyberpunk as well this year, just like how Witcher 3 drew me when I first played it.

They have to overly simplify games so it can be played with a console controller. I think a lot of games meant for PC and more complicated keyboard mapping gets simplified so it can easily translate to platform controller use. It's a money grab, make a game that more people can play, that opens up more wallets across more gaming platforms.

I’ll forever be mourning DA Dreadwolf that was project Joplin 😭 that was the game that was going to be close to what we deserved. It was going to actually have everything come together from the first warden to the inquisitor and then also have you meet whomever you had left in the fade. Your choices from DAI would have mattered and.. UGH. I will never see Veilgaurd as the ending of this arch.

it is same with Mass Effect Andromeda, combat is smooth nice and active.... storywise .... they got moments buuuut.... no story wasnt that good - concept is tho. Graficaly.... they really need step up with characters, when game came out the characters were awful and they still are

dragon age: origins was peak deagon age. when they decided to do an over arching story like mass effect, they killed it. thanks EA

Mage is your fancy because it's easy to play Experienced players prosper being a tank less DPS but can use buffs stun and status effects on their opponents that can cripple any powerful mage like swatting a fly.

This is probably the least biased review I've seen. And it still doesn't sell it for me. In my opinion: DA origins was the best, regardless of how some aspects don't hold up today. DA2 was okay, the Qunari redesign was badass, and combat was at least a bit more flashy. Inquisition was okay, but there was too much to do and that scattered the story a bit much for me, plus I played as a female Qunari warrior to see if any lore bits came up about it, and I must've missed it if it was there. Veilguard has absolutely no appeal to me as a dragon age game, based on everything I've seen and heard. I'll still take your advice, and wait for it on game pass.

Another thing people need to not be so sensitive...it's like everything in gaming and movies is a personal insult to them...well its not it's a game for entertainment...as someone once said...why so serious.

People keep saying DAV was so bad we don't deserve another DA game. Not true. We DO deserve another DA game. Bioware doesn't deserve to MAKE it.

Totally agree with the criminal lack of story in this game. And I feel like what we did get was just flat out told to us in super basic dialogue instead of actually working it into the game to “show” us. And yes, the companions are so awful. DA2 was my favorite game in the series mostly because of how rich the companions were. This game absolutely lost that and I cared about none of them at the end - even my “romance”.

The best scene is when Neve (who is dressed in a fairly innocuous pant suit with a low cut shirt) is asked by Taash (who is adorned in frills and bows and lace and hair tied into a plaited ponytail [seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually had bells and whistles on her outfit]) why she wears such ostentatiously feminine clothes. It's absolutely fascinating how incompetent this game is.

Bro, you can't blame Elden Ring for Veilguards failure just because it raised your expectations. It's on BioWare to meet the expectations of its consumers and they failed, catastrophically.

This game is just pure trash. A watered down Dragon Age with no blood, no dark settings, pathetic dialog choices, and boring repetitive combat. "Pop the blight pimples and move on" "Dodge the hydra head and hit it a bunch of time, now do two heads, then three heads" oh wow! So fun! Give me a break. They have a trans character that demands respect from everyone else but gives no respect to anyone else, while acting like a child. How insulting. None of these characters are worth caring about, at all! At this point we need to just give up on these AAA companies and focus on the smaller developers. They put more effort and love into their games than any of these companies anymore. What a disgrace.

I been a console gamer my entire life. Mainly PS but I did get my first series s two years ago to try game pass which I loved. The announcement of the PS5 pro has prompted me to switch to PC gaming and also a big reason is game pass. If we are going into an all digital future of games then I’d rather just game on PC with a subscription like game pass or buy my games from the multiple store options like steam etc. I can wait a year to play exclusives it’s not a big deal.

When you realize that Mordin Solus, Solas, and Taash all were done by the same writer...wild. Absolutely wild.

If they were going to copy the wheel from let's say mass effect andromenta, and hear me out, so in andromenta you have the 3 skills equipped and the wheel but it had the profiles set up on the d pad so you had up to 4 different sets of 3 attacks, totally 12. You could opt to use one profile or two or 4 whatever, the complexity is made optional and it keeps it fresh. Just my opinion that would have helped combat but the writing and woke bs killed it .

That cartoony look is an insult to the Dragon Age franchise. The characters look horrible, and combat is not what Dragon Age was. Only able to control one character and only have three in the party? Not sure what this game was supposed to be, but it is not Dragon Age. There are other things forced into the game that I don't like, but I won't speak of that bs.

I think it depends on what type of a gamer you are... If you spend too much time in a few games. It is cheaper to buy those games when they go on sale... Remember, not all games are part of game pass, so you have to buy some of them anyways. For me, I was paying 25CAD every month just playing a few games. I realized it is not a great deal after all. So during black Friday sale, I bought tons of games including Cyberpunk.. over a year subscription is 300 CAD
