I just bought these BDX Capra Axles and the this same Carbon Fiber LCG chassis. I see you have a 2-Lo Style Tranny in Ali 1. What tranny do you have in Ali 2? What all transmissions work with this chassis? Would an Axial LCUX Tranny (Axial Base Camp) bolt to the skid plate?

Nice build! I’m building a “cheap shot” soon. Which axles are you using on this build? It looks like you used factory Capra axles on Ally.

I bought one. The driveshafts broke 1st, no biggie had spares from my trx4m, which fit fine. Then I went to turn it on and it wouldn't come on. So I'm assuming the esc is smoked. Looking for a cheap 2 in 1 esc.

Just bought a set for about 60 ish on Ali from BDX rc. Very good quality. I may try them out on my new VRD straight axle build just to see.

Thanks for showing! Youre the only one to do it! I think I'm gonna get the ogrc inserts, they just look like they're gonna make the tire bunch up and bit and possibly help push up obstacles

I just received mine couple days ago. I got the red one and I'm not too impressed with it. Is there any other front axle that I can swap out? Would the original from the Jeep work?

Got one coming.I did know about the body but as I have the Jeep already I wanted something different. Didn't know about the chassis and servo though. Could still be capable though with a lightweight body?

Axels and steering links are actually wider than the 4m. I never took apart the transmission to check the gears. I just threw a complete Injora motor/trans set up in it and called it good. Also there are two “studs” limiting the steering servo movement. Cut them out and the steering is better.

I bought one with the intention of chopping the body and doing some minor mods with spare parts I have. The only “original” part on the whole thing now is what’s left of the body. It’s ok-ish out of the box, but too many things were bothering me.

I just installed that scx24 chassis yesterday. Worked out well .

Yeah that grinding can't be good. Rear shocks look beefy, where did you pick those up?

So the lcg chassis and ir60 don’t mate ? Does the body fix fine on stock chassis ? Did you fill oil in the stock shocks or and those *ogrc shocks ?

I wish I could rebuild my trx4m its currently broken and just lost my job and need as rear lower links driveshafts and some decent tyres

Sick build I'm getting a binding or like cogging when I am going from slow to load and adding speed. The injora team said I can adjust settings what are your ESC settings? I have the fat viper and 29/1 gears or whatever comes with their brushless combo

All it need really is just brass wheels, new shocks and maybe an esc and it'll be mint

Did you confirm that the esc is fwd/brk/rev? That's the only thing I dislike about these models. I have a spare stock Axial remote and esc I could use though.

Great build! Question for you, did you had to do any trim to the chassis to fit the motor below the hood?

I have the Yellow inserts for my Trenchers tires, I really feel like im losing a little bit of traction due to the "stiffnes" of the inserts, i think the trenchers can have more traction with a little bit less stifness on the insert without losing side wall, My rig weight 900g , I know it's heavy.
