I was taught to wash/rinse the rice after it cooks. But I've done it both ways.

Rice is like potato you wash the rice to take out the starch also to clean the rice.

I have never camped in a tent. Growing up our idea of camping was with the church in cabins or tents if you choose. I did not do canyon hops or boondocking type camping until my 40s. Mind you, in a truck camper! You two are funny. I put my cereal in the bowl first 😂
