Hi. Thanks for the video I wonder if u can help me. I've just had a replacement iveco engine built for a motor home I'm repairing for a customer. Unfortunately the rear main is leaking brand new seal. Engine company have been informed. It's a seal that I've not seen before as it seems to have some tacky type glue to seal onto the end of crankshaft. I've also seen it requires a special tool to fit it as the engine is fully built up. Did u use suggested tool to fit rear main? Thanks

Did you give the air fed puller a go? If so did it work ok? I have the same engine with no compression that I’m going to attempt to remove injectors with the same tool tomorrow

Your video was very informative, when you pulled the impella apart this was interesting as well, I have a similar issue but as the durotorq Di engine is all mechanical the turbo relies on vacuum flow from the control module to open and allow the airflow to happen. but well done very good, no play in rotors at all is a good sign too.

Hey man. Do u know if all the ivecos 2.3L are the same. I have a 2013 engine. Do they all use the same crankshaft and pistons ?

Thanks for the video. I have a serious rattle from the driver side. I believe it's the top mount. Your video makes changing the whole assembly look easy. Did you assemble the new one yourself or can you buy it assembled?

Very good video. Thanks. I have that exact same mower and have used it every year since I bought it new in 2008. I change the oil every 2 years and I keep it clean and store in the dry. The only problems I've had was the throttle cable corroded through and broke, replaced that 3 years ago. A few times after winter the carb got gummed up with dried out fuel and bowl jet got blocked with muck. I cleaned out the carb and fitted a fuel filter and shut-off valve so to run the carb dry after every time it was used. I also use Briggs & Stratton "Fuel Fit" Stabiliser which keeps it 'fresh' over winter. Now started mowing its 17th season and still going strong. Thanks again.

Hi mate great video could I ask the adaptor you used to screw on the injector body it doesn't say what thread it is does it only I got a puller but no adaptor I was goin to use 2 nuts welded together if I new the thread my injectors are exactly same as yours thankyou

all that 2 stroke oil in a 4 stroke was the cause.

You are more switched on than the average Daily owner , being able to see the signal wave is right up there .

Yep. Typical euro 4 engine. One of our vans is exactly the same. Oil all over dipstick. Ours isn’t over full of oil or anything.. but it’s near impossible to check oil level. Seems to pick oil up everywhere from when you push dipstick back in.

So I got a 49cc q2 from a friend since he couldnt fix the spring retraction on the pull start, I fixed that and pull start feels very heavy and janky like it chews a couple of times in the time I pull the string, I removed the spark to check that and was no problem,I also tested the pull without the spark and it pulled smoothly so not a compression issue either. I hear/see the flywheel cranking when I pull so I put some wd40 in the spark socket and nothing but a little bit of smoke! It’s only like a week old aswell and friend bought it brand new. any ideas?

Aw when you said - not looking too good - i really wanted to send a picture of my mark 6 - none existant inner / outer sills!!- just strippin out inside ( camper) so dont set owt on fire - suppose i can just cut whole length off( its an exlwb,jumbo) starting work on it soon - im documenting it on my channel 👍

Bigger holes for plugs can be 8 or 10 mm doesn’t matter but need to get the inner sill fused properly to the outer via the plug welds, get yourself a little dolly hammer and and knock in the long seam to allow for a thin skim of filler will make a diy job look pro. On the back of that I think you done a really good job for your first attempt 😊
