Question: what if you just eat the sigil? I also thought maybe flushing it or throwing it into trash might be bad, but meditation + eating it ? Probably puts a limit on number of sigils a month, because how many paper slips you can eat before it gets unhealthy

I waited a hold day to watch this, finally watched it, and now I'd like to come with an argument. Could this "shade" part, this identity that is us, the ego you could argue... This has the potential to become a "ghost" or such, doesn't it? I mean, I have a running theory about ghosts and different versions of them, but this shade part seems like it has that potential, even if they are forgotten by others, perhaps they would carry on with the memories themselves? Further more, I'm not entirely sure about the inability to sell the soul. If we take the Nefesh and Ruach, don't artists sell this all the time to record labels for fame and success? Now, I'm not sure about how this effects the Neshama, but I'm pretty sure it brings on pretty harsh karma, but I'd love to learn more. Edit: I actually prefer the hermetic kabbalist version of outlining the soul, as it's more comfortable with my christian upbringing. (hence why I'm also comfortable with ceremonial magick) their explanation almost seems like a reflection of the trinity in some way.

I thought what most people meant by "selling their soul" was more a shorthand of "selling the authority to control the destination of their soul after physical death". This would only be available to someone who had at least some authority or influence on the path of their soul after physical death. For example, a christian who puts their faith in Jesus, could then renounce the ways of Jesus, and in doing so give authority over the destination of their soul to another entity to bring them wherever it likes after physical death (presumably some type of hell or slavery of the entity's choosing).

You should ask Michael or some honest spirit about astral, etheric etc bodys. One enlightened yogi said there isn't etheric body. He said it is probably new age invention. Golden Dawn got it from theosophy which is new age

If you have a problem with The Divine, magick isn't for you. The reaching for, and admiring the Divinity in everything and oneself is intrinsic to magick. If the concept of God bothers you, do some shadow work to see why that's the case and work through it.

I didn’t even do a ritual, mine came to me during a deep trance meditation and comes to me in meditation/trance/dreams weekly and almost daily. And we have an agreement that I said show me this or play this song or etc etc if you’re trying to give me a sign about something and this is almost daily

Im curious about this idea of “finishing” an initiatory tradition as many of the western and eastern traditions that I’ve been have steps that extend even past the end of life. What traditions have you “finished”? (Excluding moving from an outer order to an inner order and thereby finishing the outer workings)

So I've been studying the mechanics of magic for about 34 years now and it's actually very simple. Truth be told it took me 3 decades to figure this out because you can't see the forest for the trees. To sum up, Lon Milo Duquette is right, it's all in your head, you just don't know how big your head is. The pentacles are the "keys" that The KoS speaks about in general but the truth is that there are keys throughout the book. The pentacles are conventions for your mind & nothing more. Come to speak of it, ALL ritual in magic are conventions for the mind. In essence, magic is affirmation. Yep just like the affirmations you say in the mirror or to yourself to make inner change. Affirmation & magic are one and the same. I'm about to make a book I think & explain it all & I will leave no doubt as to the validity of my claim.

Your indepth analysis would have been a treat to see. But you are right. The fruit of the system is the end result of the initiation process.

I cannot trust that a video creator who is willing to use AI images in their thumbnail will not use AI in the writing process. Video content largely trades on its authenticity and humanity, if those cannot be taken for granted then it is worthless. Which is a shame because the content here does seem like it would be good if I could trust that it was human.

You broke my heart what you said about Franz Bardon but it is very hard and you need patience and the utmost willpower. I got lucky and found a book to amplify the energy of the body and enhance focus and I did the whole initiation into Hermetics book when I was having my consciousness awakening and it just all made sense to me. Belief is the biggest part of it tbh. I teach it now for going on 5 years and we have a much easier way to do it all now. I do not do the evocation stuff though. There are way easier ways to do it than he made. But it really all depends on the individual their willpower beliefs etc

Question. Why use demons at all, if you can just cast a spell? Example, why would I go through the trouble of evoking and binding a demon, to heal someone or myself, if I can just using healing magick? It sounds like alot of trouble to go through if you can just cast a spell. Aren't we magicians? We don't need demons when we are selves are divine and magical. Also not putting anyone down, just a genuine argument.

I had an interaction with Judgement after I was fascinated with Jung's stuff and had some curiosity with his beliefs; not intending to scry, and not with the tarot at hand, last summers after spending lots of time with active imagination and doing around an hour a day, now I'm coming hear as an interested and totally fresh to the work. It’s all about deciding on a system and doing your daily’s (you nailed it) if you can get a cabin in the woods to focus more power to you. For me Judaica doesn’t really move me so Chaldean/Greek is more inspirational and I use a different system

Is there a syntax or “language” these symbols use that relate to the powers they are allegedly calling? Like a mathematical formula or something?

I might be being idealistic here but personally for me money love and power are all wonderful and of course they are almost always incidental goals etc but I for one got into magic BECAUSE IT IS MAGIC because I wanted to be a wizard/ sorcerer/ enchanter etc and yes these 3 areas are part of why but if I really wanted to there are other measn to get there but I for one would still be a practitioner even if my life vwere perfect because it's not an opportunistic or instrumental thing for me, it's a crucial part of who and what I am and I wouldn't want to live in a world where it weren't a thing

What would you say about making the pentacle by 3d-printing? Would that just mean consecrate the printer consecrate the filament? Did consecration also mean "cant use it for other purposes" because if it does, tough luck.
