_Sauron used Explosion_ _It wasn't very effective..._
Бог на небу, русија на земљи 🇷🇺 слава русији и свим савезницима❤️💙🤍живео наш род. Поздрав из братске србије🇷🇸
Eitherway I didnt like the ground caving in thing.. that was so.. i dunno.. not good.. could have atleast had gandalf suddently have some sort of power & cast a earthquake spell or something... no.. ground just caves in.. cause saouron is connected to the gat or something.. boo...
Thank god this never made it into the film. Total blasphemy against Tolkien.
1:58 So, is that Sauron's true form looks like? Underneath his "armor" does he look the same way?
To lil boys on the internet bragging about how wonderful Peter Jackson's Lord of The Rings was... This is a clear hint of how awkward it was getting. In many moments it was nothing like the book. Saruman's end makes any sense, as so does not those elves in Helm's Deep, Denethor depiction is terrible, Aragorn planning an attack against the army of Mordor in the hall of throne right before the regent died, and so on. Me as someone whos nickname is Imrahil, I feel in the right place to say Jackson was not that good.
Admittedly it would've looked pretty sick and made narrative "sense" in the sense of the heir of Isildur dueling Sauron in a final epic showdown. But I don't see how you work around the fact that as soon as Frodo put on the ring in the cracks of doom, Sauron couldn't care less about Aragorn, Gandalf, or anyone at the Black Gate. The Nazgul abandoned the battle at full throttle for Mount Doom. I guess you could've just had Frodo "claim" the ring without putting it on, and Gollum still attack him and fall in all the same. I actually think that might've worked quite well for a movie adaptation.
they have got to properly release this version eventually!
I loved this movie so much, just because of all the epic "all or nothing" scenes and the beautifully delivered dialogue, that this would have pushed me over the edge! I would have been standing in my theater seat with a popcorn bucket held high screaming "Muster the Rohirrim!"
This version of Sauron reminds me of the Black Knight of Monty Python.
Orlando Bloom is the master of overacting.
What a load of bollox!! But this would have summed up this trilogy completely! I know, for many Peter Jackson is a "hero". But I don't know why, I can't understand it. Compared with the books the movies are crap, absolute crap! He managed to suck out the fantasy, pre-chew and pre-digest the story and some alterations to fit in way more action, more "humor" ... Probably to keep people, with a short span of attention, interested. And to come to a "better", easier to understand happy ending. ...talking about it: Once again I shall read the books!
From fabulous furry freak brothers To absolutely fabulous Jesus freaks Mr Mestopheles😊
How did he regain his fiscal form without the ring ?
Having read the whole trilogy a dozen times since I was 12, and seen the weak attempts to bring it to the screen in the past, IMO Jackson did a fantastic job. Yes he did leave out parts I would have liked to have seen, but he accurately represented 98% of the books. I knew he was dead on once I saw the Balrog - he and the msssive battle scenes could only be done by cgi. I did miss the "Scouring of The Shire", and an exchange in the Two Towers between Eomer and Gimli when Eomer and his riders caught up with the "3 Runners"....Eomer dissed Galadriel, and Gimli challenged him with "Give me your name Horsemaster, and I will give you mine, and more besides"; after Eomer replies, Gimli says "You speak ill of what is fair beyond reach of your thought, and only little wit can excuse you!"....essentially "you can't begin to comprehend her beauty because you're an idiot!" BOOM!😂
1:44 kasian yg punya prau 😢
While well done it is not in the Lord of the Rings Book 3.
This would’ve been so fucken dope
Sauron would have been truly vanquished if slain by Anduril as the ring got destroyed!
I'm really glad they changed this, it would have borderline ruined the ending of the movie. The focus of what's really important should be the situation of what's happening with Frodo and Sam in Mount Doom, all the stuff at the Black Gate was literally just a diversion to buy Frodo a little time. By having Aragorn fight Sauron, that would have made The Battle of the Black Gate seem like the more important of the two juxtaposed scenes. Also, I think it's pretty evident that Jackson must have changed his mind about this scene relatively early on, considering almost none of the fight scenes with Sauron were even close to being completed (similar to the decision in The Two Towers where Jackson decided to not have Arwen in the Battle of Helm's Deep, and as such there's only a handful of daily shots and a few photos of her in costume on the set).
Why in the Hell did they not release this version.
Because it makes Sauron too strong. He appeared at the black gate out of thin air. Imagine what would have happened when he sensed that Frodo put the ring on in mount doom. Sauron would have left the black gate and no one would have been quick enough to stop him from Killing Frodo.
Insisto basta con Alejandro No soy su enemigo.
Ura !!!
While the scene was really good, the fact of the plot armor at just the right time kind of killed it. But this scene would be like you and 30 of your friends in Hunters Orange going up against a full army unit. No Speach or feeel good moment will change the fact you go totally wiped out
That was some sweet ass LARPing right there! 🤣🤣😂😂
J'imagine que l'armure de soron as était fabriqué par les mêmes bricoleur de ocean gaet 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I always thought Aragorn was meant to lose one of his eyes during this battle. He has a mark over one of his eyes in the film after the troll smacks him. This is congruent with our ideas of Kings and age, as something must be sacrificed for victory, and although time and age will reduce your physical abilities, you gain wisdom in exchange. It represents change over time.
Если бы Арагорн не приказал "назад",то гимли сс леголасом уже бы начали счет
Glad they left this out. Too much a full circle back to the beginning like this is where we came in or here we go again.
That explains why Aragorn's eyes looked so tired when he said "For Frodo"
I always laugh whenever I saw Pippin and Merry be the first to charge after Aragorn 😂 It's so funny how two hobbits are the first to charge ahead of the rest of the men, only for those two hobbits to be overtaken by the men 😂
Putting "THIS WAS FILMED" underneath concept art doesn't make it unreleased footage.
парни, когда кто-то тянет время - он тянет время, а не бежит на врага первым.
Cek kimis mimis sexy sex cek tidor ❤❤❤❤
I don’t care what anyone says. I wish they left it in.
I'm glad they didn't air this. In the book It's clear that Aragorn and Gandalf's fight is one they are fighting blind. They don't know if Frodo is alive, or if he can finish the task, but they act on faith and hope that they can still impact the war, so they must try. The act of hope against all odds, to draw all armies out of Mordor, even to their own death, to give Frodo a chance they don't even know he can use, is a key part of this while event. Having Aragorn attempt to defeat Sauron head-on in a sword fight like his ancestor is not the point of LOR books, and changes the scene altogether.
Спустя 20 лет после просмотра фильма я узнал что в 3 части планировался Саурон, единственная действительно удаленая сцена которую я видел
I get why this scene might sound good on paper, but it just honestly isn't needed. This battle was meant to be a diversion with the true final battle happening on the slopes of Mount Doom. Having Sauron duel Aragon takes away from Frodo. I will say that the idea of Sauron temporarily projecting an image of himself in an effort to tempt Aragon to his side is an interesting idea. Although leaving it up to the viewers' imagination was definitely the better choice.
This was filmed.
the 12 years old of me would've LOVED this moment and would think it's the coolest moment ever but my 35 years old me is thankful Sauron wasn't fighting Aragorn.
Great video clip and what a great movie.
To paraphrase Independence Day... " He did it! The sonofabitch did it!"
Pause @ 01:58 Imo... I think it would have been absolutely awesome and probably could not have been more perfect had Peter Jackson decided to leave that faint, ghostly yet illuminated image of Sauron (juuuuuust before he appears in his black armor @ 01:59 but then have Sauron immediately disappear @ 02:00)... to give the audience a brief glipse at what Sauron either looked like or might have looked like as 'being of light'. Wow. to think that the evil dark lord Sauron looked almost... beautiful. Very Impressive💯
I can see the face. It reminds me of Legolas, lol.
Viggo is 180 cm. Isildur 198 cm Sauron 240 cm. Elendil was also 240 cm. Therefore Elendil the tall. So Aragorn og Sauron looks so different i size in the movies. Love the movies no doubt.

Dang, Sauron is handsome 😅
One of the most important factors to consider when filming a battle scene are the stakes at hand. And it was Frodo. Frodo was our stake. Frodo was the very reason why this scene was so good to watch.
Is it just me that can't take the "For Frodo" seriously anymore 😂 Goddamn the memes
Every other fantasy movie HOPES it lives up to
Gandalf use jedi mind trick.
