Lysol sells a concentrated bottle

It's cheaper to use toilet paper as opposed to tissues. Tissues look nicer to carry but if your sick in the bed you can go through alot of tissues

I use just the basic cleaning products that can be used for multiple purposes. I keep well stocked on those items , I am sure there will be price increases in the future.

I just wanted to share a tidbit I learned a few years ago about canned peaches. I always keep a couple of cans done in heavy syrup although I prefer the kind in juice. If you end up with a stomach virus, it is helpful for many that are experiencing nausea to actually drink a smaller can of the heavy juice liquid. For some reason it eliminates nausea/vomiting for many people. I have used this trick and it does seem to work!

The canned chicken is good in any type of chicken soup or with Ramon to bulk it up, of course chicken salad as well

I just found your channel and subscribed. Love your content and how you present it! It’s just me at home these days and I am on a fixed income. I’ve always had extra in my pantry, even when my kids were little. I seldom ran out of things. 3 years ago, I started slowly building a true stockpile. I also stockpile my personal care and cleaning items. At this point I have close to a year’s worth of canned food put back. I’m trying to stay at $100 or less a month for groceries, and if it’s not on sale I don’t buy it. I bought a bread maker and bread flour so I can start making my own bread. One of my neighbors is working hard but struggling. I’ve been able to help her with groceries a couple of times over the last year. I’m blessed in return simply by being able to help her. I’m looking forward to seeing your next video!

Toilet paper, bath soap, laundry detergents, shampoo, hair conditioner. Washing up detergents. Sponges. Scourers. Other dish washing requirements. Stock 3 months if possible.

So jealous of that potato deal! I have been getting a coupon from Wegmans for tissues that makes 4 boxes $3. I was excited to get it under $1 a box. I have to start my after vacation list but we are out of lots of food but I haven’t done any inventory yet. I sort potatoes the same but I keep them in a bowl and we could use that much in a month 😂

Thanks for the tip on not storing potatoes by onions. I have them in separate bins in my basement next to each other…although I haven’t seen any problems. Glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip. What a win to have extra in the budget to stock up. Have you ever saved the budget surplus for other things like baking items in the fall, holiday meals, extra produce at harvest time to can or freeze, or purchasing beef from a farmer?

For past date tomato products, I open the can and 3xamine it for any off-coloring of the product plus the interior can condition. If either seems off, I toss. Else, I use. If still in doubt, I boil at a rolling boil for 20 minutes which most often means im making some type of a soup with a tomato base.

When ive had limited space, ive concentrated on "things that make things"; for me, basically from scratch cooking ingredients.

Medical reasons my husband had to retire at 52 we weren't ready for retirement by any means. I have always stockpiled since Y2K. Co where COVID hit I was already ready.

Well i am firstly blessed to have come across videos such as yours to be honest. I knew nothing about stockpiling before and i am so new to it. The biggest reason I'm starting is as a single mother of 3 we have been without food in the middle of the month and i was living paycheck to paycheck with my kids😢. I tried budgeting but failed to stick to it numerous times. So this year i did a 360 turn and told myself we couldn't go on like this. I need to change my mindset on how i manage my finances. I came across SHTF videos and prepping videos somehow and i got interested, watching videos like yours about stockpiles and others about budgeting and having emergency funds n cash envelopes😊. Never knew about them also. I got excited. I have become so serious about it and it's because i never want my kids to become sad when thinking back about their childhood and how i struggled to provide for them it would break me😢literally. So i strive to feed and clothe my children in every way possible with my income. I have started with toiletries and breakfast cereals and a few cans of beans. That's my stockpile for now😊. I have an extra room that i turned into a walk-in pantry and i can't wait to see it completely full. I also have one fridge with a freezer and currently saving to buy (by the end of the year) a deep chest freezer to have a stockpile of frozen goods now😊 Because of videos like yours❤ we will never go without, ever again.
