Whole-wheat shortbread cookies Coconut sugar - 50g, powdered (or cane sugar or jaggery) 1/4 cup Butter - 100g, softened (1/2 cup) Whole-wheat flour - 150g (1 cup) Salt - a pinch Cream butter for ~ 3 mins Add finely powdered sugar and whisk again for 2 mins. Sift in whole-wheat flour and mix to combine gently. Roll out into 1/4" thickness, cut out. Bake at 180°C for 10-12 mins or till the bottom is golden brown.

Holy ash isn't completely chemical free. So in a way you are using some chemical. Baking soda, baking powder and lemon are way better than Vibhuth as we don't know what sort of chemical is lurking in it. Or like our grannies used red soil, ash from wood burning stove and tamarind is what we have to use.
