The nostalgia is not just a matter of missing times past but more so, missing a different and much freer state of being where privacy was valued/respected and community was based on reality…your immediate locality - not the digitalized and worldwide reach of social media where we constantly ingest thoughts, invest feelings, and get caught up in the happenings and livelihoods of each other as complete strangers beyond the screen. It’s bizarre.

Sadly, nowadays you don't see that anymore; it has disappeared. Americans, I am warning you, if you lose nationalism and pride in your own country, it will be your greatest downfall. I am looking forward to your revival. You are the only country that sets an example of true freedom. You openly criticize your own leaders; that is true freedom. We can't do that here 😅.
